FarrPoint’s Post

Today FarrPoint launches its new connectivity study for Harlan County in Eastern #Kentucky, USA 🇺🇲. This new report, which estimates that improved broadband could bring benefits of over $70m for the local #Harlan economy, is very transferable to any rural area in the world. These areas often share similar challenges of depopulation, slow economic growth and difficulty deploying connectivity. This report, which was conducted in partnership with Kentucky’s Shaping Our Appalachian Region, Inc. (SOAR) and non-profit impact fund Connect Humanity, shows the importance of investing in #connectivity in rural areas. Have a read.
