🎉 Excited to Share My Latest Project! 🎉 I’ve just completed the UI design for my Home Security App 🚪🔒 using React Native, and it’s fully tested on Expo Go! 💡 Key Features of the App: 🔹 Home Screen: Sticky header design with a curved layout and responsive elements. Welcome message and profile section for a personalized touch. Animated cards for Rooms and Info sections, bringing the UI to life! 🔹 Devices Screen: Cards for each device with smooth entry animations. Easy-to-read device statuses using security camera of all rooms. Modern, clean design with color-coded action items. 🔹 Living Room Screen: Interactive room tabs (Bedroom, Living Room, Kitchen). A stunning circular temperature gauge with a sleek design. Vibrant and responsive action cards (Cooling, Heating, Timer, etc.). 🌟 Why I Built This: My goal was to create a user-friendly, visually appealing interface for smart home management, combining interactivity with responsive design. I thoroughly enjoyed working on this project and learning new techniques in React Native. 🌟Brilliant new colour finder tool in the Dulux Visualizer app!🎨 This great new functionality in the visualiser app will make choosing colours and creating colours schemes easy peasy! Here’s how… 1️⃣ Open the Dulux Visualizer app on your smart phone. 2️⃣ Click on the menu option (3 lines) in the top left of the app, then select ‘Colour Picker Tool’. 3️⃣ Click on the ‘Launch Colour Finder’ button. 4️⃣ Either browse an image you already have on your phone or (as I did here) click on ‘Capture Image’. 5️⃣ Take the photo and, assuming you are happy with it, click on ‘Use Photo’. 6️⃣ This opens up the colour finder screen that has 5 seeds/scanner points that you can move around the photo to select the colours you like. At the bottom of your screen it will show you the colour palette with equivalent Dulux paint colours. 7️⃣ Once you are happy with the palette, click on the Visualizer button (green with a white camera and stars above it) to see how the individual colours will look in your space. 8️⃣ In the Visualizer screen click on the wall where you want to preview the paint colour and then go through each of the colours in the palette by clicking on them. Choose the one(s) you love. ✅ Simple! There are lots more brilliant aspects to the app, but this is a new development that I love and wanted to share. Here’s a couple of suggestions of where else could you use this functionality… 💡If you see a fab colour/colour combo in a restaurant/hotel/pub that you’d like to recreate elsewhere. 💡 If you see a beautiful colour combination out in nature.
