Boris Marx and I would like to thank the AVK and the jury for the AVK Innovation Award in the category “Research and Science” for our contribution “Development of fine-denier PEEK yarns with product-specific mechanical and thermomechanical behavior”. (https://lnkd.in/dB9jedU2) We would also like to thank Evonik High Performance Polymers (Johannes Florian Krampe and Jochen Fritz) for their support with Vestakeep material, Filament-Technik (Dr. Tim Graberg) for the production of twisted yarns and the companies Digel Sticktech GmbH & Co. KG (Fabian Digel), Groz-Beckert (Eric Jürgens), Markert Group (Thomas Hammerich) and SAERTEX (Carsten Reese) for the evaluation of our yarns in textile processing. The corresponding research project HiperThread (AIF-Nr. 21614 N/1) of the Forschungskuratorium Textil e. V. was funded by the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz (BMWK) through the AiF Projekt GmbH within the program Industrial Collective Research (IGF) on the basis of a decision of the German Bundestag.
