𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐞 ? As we all know, Navratri is the festival that talks about the different strengths of women and celebrates every aspect of femininity. This festival is the closest to my heart as it is characterized by Garba and Dandiya, which is a Gujarati folk dance. Coming to the etymology of ‘𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐚’ It originated from the Sanskrit word, which means ‘𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐛’. The dance itself is such a visual spectacle that it mesmerizes everyone. Performers, predominantly women, move in concentric circles around a center point and ,often around an image of the goddess Durga, a lit clay lamp, or a water-filled vessel. As the dance progresses, its pace gradually intensifies, mirroring the building energy of the celebration. This enduring tradition showcases the deep-rooted connection between art, spirituality, and community in Indian culture. This shows the proof of how traditional practices continue to thrive and evolve in our modern world. Just like how garba still fundamentally stands proudly even in today’s contemporary world, similarly, with my brand ‘SARAS’, I envision to incorporate and revive our traditional art and designs in my collection. Experience the fusion of tradition and modernity in our latest SARAS collection. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞? While performing Khande Navami ( Ayudha Puja) in the office, a thought struck me. Many of us, myself included, sometimes overlook or even underrate the traditions we’ve inherited. It’s easy to dismiss these rituals as old-fashioned or irrelevant in our modern lives. But standing there, offering gratitude to the tools and instruments that we use daily, I realized how much depth and meaning these traditions actually hold. Indian traditions, like Ayudha Puja, are not just about the act itself—they carry with them deep values and thoughtful messages. It’s a simple yet profound reminder that everything, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, plays a role in our success and well-being. It reminded me that our traditions are far from outdated—they are, in fact, timeless. They encourage us to stay grounded, grateful, and connected to everything that supports us. And in a world that’s constantly moving forward, sometimes, it’s these small moments of reflection that remind us of the values we should carry with us. #AyudhaPuja #IndianTraditions #Gratitude #Mindfulness #CulturalWisdom #TraditionWithMeaning #RitualsOfIndia #DeepValues #SpiritualReflection #StayGrounded #Navratri #RespectTheTools #TimelessTraditions #WorkWithGratitude #Dussehra

Durga Puja – Cultural Kaleidoscope A Celebration of Culture, Tradition, and Unity Durga Puja is one of India’s most vibrant and grand festivals, celebrated with immense devotion and cultural pride. This 10-day festival honors the victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasura, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. Rooted in Hindu mythology, Durga Puja is not just about rituals; it’s a celebration of art, community, and tradition. The festivities begin with Mahalaya, marking the goddess's arrival on Earth. Throughout the days, beautifully crafted pandals, cultural performances, and devotional rituals captivate both locals and tourists. Key events include Shashthi, when the face of Durga is unveiled, and Vijayadashami, the final day of immersion, symbolizing her return to the heavens. While Durga Puja’s heart is in West Bengal, it is celebrated across India, from the vibrant Garba dances in Gujarat to the intricately decorated idols in Odisha. For travelers, visiting India during this time offers an unforgettable experience of color, devotion, and cultural richness. If you’re a culture enthusiast or a traveler seeking an immersive experience, Durga Puja is a must-see, showcasing India’s rich heritage, art, and unity. #DurgaPuja #Indianfestival #culture #tradition #tourism #mythology #travel #Hindufestival #Mahalaya #Vijayadasham #CulturalFestivals #hoteltravelia Media Credit : Pic Courtesy - UnSplash Video Courtesy - Mixxit Background Music - Upbeat Background Music, Pic & videos : invideo.io & Istock Disclaimer : 1. people should use # ____''name of person who did this.. while sharing on platforms. Also mention location, company and society person is occupied/associated with.. May be this another way to do name-shame {social media}for culprits..
Arrogance least to say ☹️Atrocious 🤷🏻♀️🤥 Unacceptable behavior of a resident of Monarch Serenity, Thannisandra, Bangalore, who deliberately destroyed a Pookalam lovingly created by children in the common area. This act not only disrespects the hard work of the kids but also demeans the rich cultural heritage that Pookalam represents, especially coming from someone who is Malayali herself. It's disturbing to see such disregard for our own traditions and culture. The common area is meant for all residents to share and celebrate festivals together.
