Are you ready to hire a Virtual Executive Assistant, but you're not sure if you need a contract in place, or where to get one? We have all read those fb posts right..... "A service provider has just ripped me off by not delivering as promised" and "I need to move on from my service provider but I'm not sure how." And someone always asks in the comments "What does the contract say?" and poor OP admits "There is no contract." All professional service providers will have a contract for you to review and sign. And if they dont, RUN! A good contract will provide protection for both parties and will cover the following areas: 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: It will clearly outline the scope of work, deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities of both parties, ensuring that everyone is on the same page and reduce the likelihood of misunderstandings. 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: It will define the terms and conditions of the agreement, including payment terms, confidentiality, and dispute resolution processes, all of which can be enforced in court if necessary.
