Today is Palestinian Children's Day. The situation for children in Gaza is dire. - Since October, a conflict in Gaza has led to the deaths of over 13,000 children, indicating a severe humanitarian crisis. [Note: The crisis dates back to late 1947 with the establishment of a Jewish homeland in Palestine.] - Children in Gaza are facing starvation and severe malnutrition, with some dying due to lack of food and medical care. - Nearly all children in Gaza now require mental health support, showing signs of extreme distress. What these children owe us: -Urgent calls for a ceasefire to allow aid and support to reach those in need, especially vulnerable children. -The scale of this tragedy demands immediate international intervention to provide humanitarian aid and protect children's rights. The global community must rally to send aid, pressure for peace, and ensure accountability for these atrocities. - Every adult on this planet should ask these questions: what am I doing to ensure children’s rights in conflict zones? What am I doing for the children of Gaza? The situation calls for a global response to end the violence and provide immediate and long-term support to the children of Gaza. #ChildrenofGaza #ChildrenRights #FreePalestine

In the wake of recent events in Rafah, Gaza, it's imperative that we, as a global community, raise our voices for peace and harmony. The city of Rafah has become a focal point of conflict, witnessing unspeakable tragedies that have affected countless innocent lives. I've always believed in the power of unity and the strength of collective action. Today, I stand with Rafah, echoing the call for an immediate ceasefire and the protection of human rights for all. The humanitarian crisis in Rafah is not just a regional issue; it's a test of our humanity. Over 30,000 Palestinians, including 13,800 children, have faced the horrors of conflict. Closed borders have exacerbated the situation, preventing essential aid from reaching those in need and blocking critical medical treatments. "All Eyes on Rafah" is not just a phrase; it's a movement. It's a reminder to not look away but to engage actively in seeking solutions. Organizations like Save the Children and Oxfam are working tirelessly to bring attention to the crisis, and it's our responsibility to support such efforts. Let us remember that behind the statistics are real people with hopes, dreams, and the desire to live in peace. We must advocate for diplomatic dialogues, support humanitarian aid, and promote a culture of peace and understanding. I urge my network, colleagues, and friends to join me in this call for peace. Share this message, educate others about the situation, and let's work together towards a future where harmony prevails over conflict. #PeaceForRafah #HumanRights #GlobalUnity #CeasefireNow

SOLIDARITY | The ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, along with escalations in Gaza, Lebanon, and surrounding areas, has left millions of people facing a devastating humanitarian crisis. The tragic violence has not only claimed countless lives but also continues to destroy essential infrastructure, leaving vulnerable communities displaced and struggling for survival. Families, including women and children, are being forced from their homes, with many losing access to fundamental rights like healthcare, education, safe shelter, water, and sanitation. Hospitals and schools have been damaged, and the disruption of food supplies is deepening the crisis. As the conflict spreads, its ripple effects are being felt far beyond Gaza, affecting Lebanon, and other regions with escalating tensions. At the Campaign for Social Justice, we stand in solidarity with all civilians affected by this conflict, regardless of nationality, religion, or ethnicity. We call for an immediate end to the violence and a recommitment to peaceful dialogue. Our hearts go out to the displaced, the injured, and those mourning the loss of their loved ones. We urge the international community to prioritize humanitarian support to ensure access to critical services like healthcare, shelter, and education for all those affected. As advocates for justice, equality, and human rights, we remain committed to calling for an end to impunity and the protection of civilians, particularly the most vulnerable—children, women, and the elderly. In these difficult times, peace and diplomacy are the only viable solutions to end the cycle of violence and build a future where all people in the region can live in safety, dignity, and peace. #SolidarityForPeace #HumanRights #JusticeForAll #EndViolence #ProtectCivilians #CampaignForSocialJustice #GazaCrisis

Watch this news video of children in Gaza. DO NOT LOOK AWAY. (FYI, if even ABC news will show it, you can be assured it's not going to make you that uncomfortable.) This coming Friday, April 5, is Palestinian Children's Day. Why does this matter here, on LI, a site for people to talk about business? Because you need to know if you're working with people who don't care that 14,000 children have been k1lled in Gaza since October 7. You need to know if you're associated with businesses who think Palestinian children are not fully human. You have a right to know if you can bring your conscience and humanity to work, and if somebody there is going to threaten you for caring about the children of Palestine. We bring our whole selves to work. That's why this is important. If you can't feel the intentional k1lling of 14,000 children in your gut, I don't want you to follow me anymore. If you buy into the propaganda that Palestinian children don't deserve human rights and access to the basics of life - adequate food, clean water, safe shelter, hygiene, and parents who are alive - take a hike. Right now. Be human at work. Bring your humanity to your work. Period. Don't settle for anything less. #FreePalestine #HumanRights #Humanity https://lnkd.in/eiBkryRb

Did you know that children in Sudan have lost hope and happiness for their future? They live without dreams and are uncertain about what tomorrow will bring. All their worries revolve around finding a safe and secure place to live. These children are forced to engage in discussions about conflict, and their conversations often revolve around the struggles they face. On International Children's Day, finding the right words to convey the plight of children in Sudan is challenging 😭 . They are enduring various forms of harm and are subject to severe violations of their rights. On this day, children should be at home, in school, and enjoying the company of their friends and family. Instead, many are living in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps or as refugees. Children in Sudan should not have to endure conflict; they deserve the chance to live everyday lives, just like other children around the world. They need the opportunity to fulfil their rights and dignity. #keepeyes on Sudan #Children in Sudan need our support. #stop the war
