Hi everyone! ✨ I'm excited to share my app project, the Dicoding Story app, developed during my journey with Bangkit Academy led by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka. This project was my final submission for the Intermediate Android Application Development course by Dicoding Indonesia. Dicoding Story offers a range of features to enhance user experience. Users can easily add new stories by filling out a form with text, uploading images, and optionally including their current location. The app also displays a map with markers for each story that includes location data, allowing users to see their own and others' stories on the map with basic information like title and description. Additionally, users can view detailed information about each story, including text, images, and location data. The login feature allows users to securely log into their existing accounts with proper input validation, server authentication, and error handling, while the registration feature enables new users to create accounts with the same level of security and validation. On top of these main features, Dicoding Story includes a widget for users to view the latest stories directly from their home screen and offers multi-language support to cater to a diverse user base. Story Hub - An Android Application for Sharing and Viewing Stories From Friends Learning and Graduating From Dicoding, Utilizing Dicoding's api. This is one of the projects I completed for the final assignment of the Dicoding module "Intermediate Android" at Bangkit Academy led by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka This app is a social media platform where users can share photos online using Dicoding's API. It has an infinite scrolling feature, letting users browse through posts continuously. Users can see details of other users' posts and upload their own photos. To access the main page, users need to register or log in with an existing account. The app also lets users share their current location when uploading a post. Using the Google Maps API, users can view the locations of posts from various users. #LifeAtBangkit #Bangkit2024

This was my first project in developing an Android application, created as my final assignment to complete the Dicoding module "Beginner Android". Hello everyone! 🌟 I'm excited to share that two months ago, in March, I successfully completed the Beginner Android Application Development (Belajar Membuat Aplikasi Android untuk Pemula) course offered by Dicoding Indonesia through Bangkit Academy led by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka 📱✨ During this enriching journey, I dedicated myself to developing a project that I'm eager to showcase to you all. I'm excited to reveal that the project, Movie Mania, served as my final submission for the course. Movie Mania is an Android app designed for film enthusiasts, offering a list of movies complete with detailed synopses and ratings. Movie Mania uses RecyclerView to list the movies efficiently, providing a smooth scrolling experience. Each movie item is contained within a CardView, which neatly displays the movie name, rating, and release year. Users can click on a movie item to view more details and share it in a detailed activity using intents, making it easy to explore and share their favorite films. I'm incredibly excited about this achievement! Finally, I'm getting around to posting this, a bit late but better late than never, right? 🌟 After months of diving into it, I finally wrapped up the Bangkit Academy led by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka Program, primarily in the Mobile Development learning path. 🎓 During the whole ride, I've been all about mobile development, trying out different stuff, and getting deeper into how apps are made. 💻 Big shoutout to my awesome team on our final project: Rachmat Farid Abdillah, Reno Widi Respati, AULIYA NUR PRATAMA, Berlyandhica Alam Febriwantoro, Aziz Fatih Fauzi, and David Wijaya. Hello everyone! 🌟 I'm excited to introduce my latest Android app project called Story App! 🚀 A week ago, I successfully completed the Intermediate Android Application Development (Belajar Pengembangan Aplikasi Android Intermediate) course offered by Dicoding Indonesia, which i got through Bangkit Academy led by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka. In that course, the project i am sharing today, Story App, served as my final submission. Story App is an Android App that allows users to share their stories with images and GPS-tagged locations. Story App offers a seamless login and registration experience using custom Material Text Input layouts. These inputs enhance security and usability by detecting if a password is less than 8 characters or if an email is incorrectly formatted. Upon successful login, the app securely stores your token data and user information in the Data Store, ensuring a smooth and personalized experience each time you use it. Users can upload images with text descriptions seamlessly using Retrofit. Additionally, you can share your location by using GPS if you check the "Post with location" checkbox. This feature ensures that your stories include precise location details, making them even more engaging and relatable. Story App integrates Google Maps API, allowing users to open a map within the app that displays markers at the locations where stories have been shared. This feature lets you visually explore and navigate through various stories based on their geographic locations, enhancing the overall experience by providing a spatial context to each narrative. To provide an infinite scrolling experience, Story App uses Paging 3 and Remote Mediator. This allows users to effortlessly browse through stories. The app also keeps the data stored in a Room database, ensuring smooth and efficient access to stories even when offline. I'm incredibly excited about this project and grateful for the opportunity to apply what I've learned. Finally..... I'd like to share that I have finished the Belajar Pengembangan Aplikasi Android Intermediate course from Dicoding Indonesia, where I created my version of the Story App, which I like to call "Tell." With this course finished, I have now completed all the mandatory courses from Bangkit Academy led by Google, Tokopedia, Gojek, & Traveloka. It has been quite a ride and, of course, challenging, but I have gained a lot of valuable insights into Android development. I can't wait to implement all this knowledge in my Capstone project (which is ongoing right now) and in future projects or opportunities. #LifeAtBangkit #BangkitAcademy
