The clue is in the name: our team are excited to get stuck in at Anticipate London! Houston, we (had a problem) 😬 Our client was a busy professional managing two side hustle businesses and a family. Her plate was full, and her team was facing a lot of challenges. We knew we could help, but how? Here's the nitty gritty of what we did to turn it all around: 📅 We sit down weekly to map out her week, ensuring no detail is overlooked. 📩 No more missed meetings—we handle all appointment confirmations. 📝 Contracts for new events are sent out months in advance, eliminating last-minute rushes. 💻 We created an event page on her website, which is now filling up with profitable events. The result? She’s no longer in reactive mode. With deliberate planning, she even managed to take *three weeks* off this summer without significant impacts on her businesses. Now THAT'S what we call a client success story! 🙌

Consumer Insight: When you invite a consumer to your event, there’s much to consider beyond just how to get them there. May I recommend including an experienced consumer in your planning if you are truly keen on incorporating consumer opinions? The consumer-led events I have attended, run by Metro South Consumer Partnering, have been exemplary. In my opinion, when the Metro South Consumer Partnering team is involved, I can relax and don’t need to advocate for myself at the event, as my needs are considered for me.

In today's market, there's an abundance of hype and superficial information. Hearing directly from enterprise companies about their "buy vs. build" strategies and AI adoption across the tech stack will provide valuable insights and help distinguish genuine solutions from empty promises. S&P Global has recently made several announcements regarding their AI strategy, including new products and workforce initiatives with Swamy Kocherlakota spearheading these efforts. John Deere has been exploring various internal initiatives and launching numerous new products. While releasing AI software products is relatively easier, integrating AI into equipment and machinery poses greater challenges. They're tackling these complex issues in the agricultural sector, and I'm eager to hear Scott A. discuss their progress. Beyond applications, I'm particularly interested in hearing from researchers David Uminsky, Kristian Hammond, Matias Carrasco Kind, and Emmanouil (Manos) Koukoumidis about potential future development, including discussions on open vs. closed systems, trust & safety, etc We're already witnessing the emergence of new companies from university research. Databricks, one of the most valuable companies in the field, was founded by seven Berkeley researchers. I anticipate that some of the next generation of AI companies will similarly arise from academic research - Northwestern University University of Chicago University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Lastly, the importance of data will always supersede AI itself. I'm keen to hear from industry practitioners like Sohaj Shergill about their approach to this subject. Thanks for collaborating Preeti Asthana Jim Maskeri and Aon

Recently I have been feeling pretty comfortable - doing underwriting, checking community pictures through google map, sending emails back and forth with my partners, and making a few phone calls to build relationship. But something doesn’t feel right, the fact that I am getting comfortable tells me my growth is slowing down! So I want to push myself and do something I have not done before – I want to organize a monthly real estate local meet up. The goal is to create opportunities for new friendships, exchanging insights/information, and building relationships. Of course, I'll continue discussing hotel-to-apartment conversions, but other real estate topics are welcome too. For instance, I have friends like Sixiang (Nick) Li, Gongting W. who can share their roller-coaster experiences investing in NNN medical buildings. If there’s enough interest, I’ll also invite Hotelshift managing principal Alexander Cartwright and acquisition director Patrick Painter to join some of the meet-ups. The format will start as casual networking and evolve depending on attendance and topics covered. Would anyone be interested in joining such local meet-up near Manhattan or New Jersey (perhaps Jersey City, Hoboken, or Fort Lee)? I am thinking meeting at a bar for our first event. 😀

𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫? One of the greatest lessons I learned from my mother was, “Of course it is the inside you that counts. However, you have to dress up and look good so that you can attract people who will then find out how nice and smart you are, and what value you can be to them.” This advice resonates in so many areas of life, especially when it comes to standing out and making meaningful connections. At the Golden Gate Breakfast Club (GGBC), we embrace the idea of being colorful characters—not just in appearance but in personality, approach, and the value we bring. When you’re a person of interest, you naturally draw others toward you. It’s not about being flamboyant but about being engaging, genuine, and confident in your uniqueness. Your stories, insights, and even your quirks make you memorable. In our club, we celebrate those who embrace this individuality. At the GGBC, we have members who were actors in England, organize guided trips to Africa, have met with multiple Presidents at the White House, written best-selling books, are Board members of Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District and San Mateo County Transit, earn degrees in their 80’s and are renowned experts in their field of endeavor. The GGBC is a place where members share not only their business wisdom but also their colorful life experiences. It’s one of the many benefits of being part of such a dynamic group. We learn from each other, we inspire, and we have fun! And isn’t that what makes life—and business—more rewarding? Do you consider yourself a colorful character? I hope so. Three times a month we meet in Zoom on Wednesdays 7:00am –9:00am PT and hear some amazing speakers. Check out our website below. A few of our interesting members Carl Walsh, Gary McKinsey, Janice Litvin, Tony Woodall, Antonio White, Craig Stuart Adams, Hugh Coppen, Tracy Hooper, Janelle Barlow, Cathy Sommerville (Scharetg), Susan RoAne, Peter Ratto, Betty Rhoades 🎤, Gordon Hill, Betty Taisch, Realtor. #presentationskillsexpert #keynotespeaker #publicspeaking #frippvt
