Director at Waste Knot

Last week, we took the inspiring Daniel Waistell and some of his BaxterStorey South-East team to feel and experience the hills and heady heights of the Worcestershire countryside. Laced with roaming the fields, foraging food for that evening’s dinner, conversing with Dan and Rob from FerryFast Produce, discussing everything from regenerative farming practices to how Waste Knot has helped them as a business within an increasingly-challenging literal and economic climate, to paddleboarding with Rich from Wild Goose SUP (with only a couple of soggy casualties to report…), to glamping out under a Blood Moon and collectively cooking a knockout feast over fire… it was certainly a couple of days to remember. Spanning from chef managers to procurement to HR to admin, the stories we heard and shared remind us why we’re doing what we’re doing. Bringing people together in environments that offer-up new perspectives and challenge ways of thinking is vital to achieving impact and continuing our missions to positively impact mental and physical landscapes. Enormous thanks to all who came and especially to Daniel who went above and beyond with his steely determination 💪🏻. Onwards team BaxterStorey!! 🥕 #regenerativeagriculture #regenerativeleadership #foodwaste #sustainability

What a fabulous event! Fun, inspiring, exciting, educational and life-enhancing - and I love the sound of the foraged dinner cooked outdoors, it will have tasted SO good.
