Oath Law grew by 23% last quarter, in terms of market expansion.
Reflecting on that growth, and how we can execute well going into Q4, here are 3 of my takeaways from the cycle:
1️⃣ Project Timing comes First, then Viability:
We have a good number of exciting projects on the horizon and efficiency is as important as ever. One project in particular I took on last quarter and went headlong into making progress, soon realizing the opportunity was not only viable, but much bigger than we originally thought. I was so focused on achieving the associated quarterly goal, that I overlooked (possibly ignored) the fact that we weren’t ready and needed additional time to prepare. After quite a bit of effort, I finally set it aside 70 days into the quarter to focus on higher impact work. Feeling like I had to justify the pivot, I brought a well-thought-out break down to our off-site quarterly review meeting. The team, immediately seeing what took me over 2 mos to accept, acknowledged the move and agreed that punting to Q1 was the best course of action. Lesson learned - Pivot fast and pivot early.
2️⃣ {yet another} Reminder to Curb Assumptions:
Heading into an Estate Planing conference, I had what ultimately boils down to a limiting belief. I expected a tough time breaking through the noise and getting attention for our sales enablement software. However, the overwhelmingly positive response we received from conference goers (many now users) pushed us to move up our product launch timeline. Lesson learned (for the 100th time in my career) - don’t write my own narrative and let the clients speak for themselves.
3️⃣ A High Performing Team Doesn’t come with an Instruction Manual:
Knowing you have exceptional colleagues to rely on is one thing, but understanding how and when to call on them for help and effectively utilize their skill sets, is another. I was reminded recently of a blind spot of mine that, in the past, has led to tunnel vision and a loss of momentum. Lesson learned - Though I’ve gotten pretty good at the “how” over the years, I still need work on the “when.”

LINKED!
No matter the size of your company, one thing is true for all....
Your success depends on the support of others.
With this in mind I was proud to create "The Link Award," recognizing teamwork within the Mooresville Parks & Recreation Department.
With seven divisions and over 70 employees, our group is large and spread out. Each day offers unique challenges for all.
However the commonality is that we each depend on each other for the overall success of our individual goals, as well as department goals.
This is THE LINK that connects us all.
Each recipient has demonstrated this teamwork by supporting another person NOT in their own division.
And each recipient is tasked with choosing the next award winner, with the caveat that it has to be someone outside their daily division circle who helps them achieve their goals.
Recognizing and rewarding teamwork is a small way to unify your staff and remind them that all our successes are LINKED!
We connect each persons photo to the next utilizing carbineers, to signify this link, the connection we all share one to the other.
(and yes, faces have been covered to protect the innocent..lol)

Passionate about helping ambitious companies nail strategy execution and create full team alignment. Creator of #1-3-5 and Founder at Reclaro; simple strategy execution software. Committed lifelong learner.
I'm very passionate about helping people, especially the ones who are open to being challenged and are motivated to grow.
Yesterday I was working with the team at Robinson Michael and Jackson in Chatham hosted at Bridgewood Manor Hotel & Spa.
We got straight into the detail around being your best and becoming more effective. The team are doing well and what's great is everyone is motivated to improve and grow further. 🚀🚀🚀
We also had a right laugh, as the team know each other very well and there's a high level of trust.
The main part of the session was around 'The 3 Three Steps to Exceptional Execution.'
We looked closely at:
➡️ Outcomes - how to build extremely clear outcomes, most teams don't get what they want because they don't really know what they want 👊
➡️ Systems - what are the systems needed for measurement and accountability, can you build self-managed teams focusing on the leading measures 👊
➡️ Team - how do we communicate the plan so everyone is on the same page working on their special skill more of the time 👊
Energy was very high and the time flew over. 🔥🔥🔥
What's the next session about? Well that's on 'Elite Teams' how to Build, Lead and then develop 'The Pursuit of Excellence.'😀
All good stuff. Thanks Simon Woodcock for organising with the whole squad, yesterday was a breakthrough day!! 🙏
Lee Franklin, Tj Yardley, Dominic Kleywegt, Joe Mullan, Reece Cox, Joseph Bassom, Kelly Creed, Simon Parish MARLA and Ennis Richards.
Looking forward to our next session and having more learning and more fun!

BTE ALERT / Best Team Ever Alert
Recognition for March
Calling out the Best of the Best
As previously noted, I will continue to celebrate members of my team monthly that deserve the distinction of the Best of the Best.
As previously noted, this is a tough task given the talent that resides in my organization…You don’t call your team the Best Team Ever without that team containing some serious talent.
And as previously noted, it’s the acts of these individuals in 3 categories that allow them to be called out by my management team.
So for March…
All Star Performers:
While my organization may post great numbers, these individuals posted numbers in March that made headlines internally. They beat expectations and caused my management team to take note of their performance.
Michael Griesser
Jessica Geinoski
Jacob Tavenier
Teamwork Award:
I am lucky enough to lead a team that realizes that for themselves to be successful, you want the group you work with, the eco-system you work with, the company you work for to be successful.
Sometimes and most times, that takes a village. The people below care enough about that village that they demonstrate it profoundly. It’s one of the traits we cherish at TDSynnex, knowing that your own success comes easier when they devote effort to make the team
Successful.
Koby Franklin
Brooke Pannal
The Damon Mim’s Award:
One extra email, one extra call, one extra piece of effort is sometimes what it takes to make that distinction between being good and being better than good. We named this award after one of TDSynnex’s own that we lost un-expectedly who displayed this trait every day.
It’s that extra effort, that going the extra mile that we celebrate with this distinction.
Paul Madison
Jonathan De Guzman
Again, thank you to these co-workers for the traits they displayed in March. I ask the BTE (Best Team Ever) to join me in letting them know that their efforts are inspirational and are appreciated….For the month of March, the people I call out above are the Best of the Best !!!
You are recognized and appreciated !!!

Celebrating wins—big or small—is vital for team morale.
At Assistantly, we have a Friday tradition called "Win of the Week."
Here’s what we do:
1. Each team member shares their biggest win.
2. We celebrate together.
It’s simple, but it’s made a huge difference. Our team is more cohesive and motivated.
Want to boost your team’s morale? Start celebrating all wins.
Tag your manager, team lead, or company and show them how it’s done.
(example below 😊 )
You know those people who are always having fun, even at work? We do! They’re our Foundation of Excellence award winners for FUN!
Each year, we celebrate team members who live our values. 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄.
In the latter part of this year I offered my services to Tradies as an outsourced General Manager to help take the load off.
It consisted of 1 hour unpacking session with 3 hours worth of work on their business. Some of the work I did and some they did.
𝗪𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀.
GP = Gross Profit to hit a target of 50%
NP = Net profit to hit a target of 20%
Productivity = to get above 80%
Efficiency = to get above 120%
Reworks = less than 5%
Booked = for at least 6 months 2025
We combined that with regular sessions for team leaders with myself. Rgeular sessions for the business owners and monthly performance reviews for the team.
I am pleased to say that congratulations Generate Landscapes you have done amazing job and exceeded above all expectations.
Time to relax and enjoy your well earned break.
Oh I forgot to add that they also enjoyed a bit of time off when their new little apprentice arrived.
It is so great to see business owners rewarded for all their hard work and persistance.
