Same video, different aspect ratio and type of vehicle! When it comes to graphic design - especially motion graphics in particular - there's always something you want to change when you go back and review a project, but I think it's more important to make notes and be aware of those things you want to avoid in future projects. In my opinion, these videos aren't masterpieces but they do provide a visual guide to potential clients for the terminology used in the vinyl vehicle wrapping industry. They can't all be cinematic smash hits but at least I learned a thing or two while working on the various aspect ratios for these ad campaign videos. #motiongraphics #graphicdesign #aftereffects

This is a retro-style motion design loop I created in After Effects during my personal time. I originally posted this on my Instagram a while back, but it's worth sharing here as I received a lot of positive comments on it. My aim in creating this was to learn how to simulate the appearance of hand-drawn graphics without the need for illustration. Looks pretty organic look and mind-bending. This experimental hyperlapse video is titled "Side Street Stories." It offers an exploration of the streets, providing a glimpse into the various stories unfolding in a central location. All the footage was captured by walking with a camera in hand, snapping multiple quick photos while keeping the camera as steady as possible. The process involved remixing these images by combining different layers to achieve a "newspaper" texture, reflecting events that happen in real time and are communicated through media (newspaper canvas).
