Motion graphics are a sophisticated form of digital animation that merges the principles of graphic design with dynamic movement, creating visually compelling content used across various media platforms. This discipline involves the strategic use of visual elements, such as typography, shapes, and icons, brought to life through animation techniques to communicate messages effectively and engagingly. #MotionGraphics #MotionDesign #Animation #2DAnimation #3DAnimation #GraphicDesign #VisualEffects #VFX #DigitalArt #CreativeDesign #ExplainerVideo #VisualStorytelling #TitleSequence #UIAnimation #BrandingAnimation #InfographicDesign #AdvertisingDesign #ContentCreation #VideoMarketing #SocialMediaContent #MotionDesigner #DesignInspiration #CreativeProcess #DesignCommunity #ArtOfAnimation #DesignDaily #AnimationInspiration #MotionGraphicsArtist #MadeWithAfterEffects #Cinema4D #AfterEffects #Blender3D #AdobeCreativeCloud #Mograph #AEPlugins #BlenderCommunity #DesignTools #AEAnimation #3DModeling

I made a Logo Animation for a Clothing Brand! Go to avrigeclothing.com and use Code: TYLER to get 20% OFF! . Before I start anything I always try to GET or CREATE a vector file of the logo, so that way I have the most flexibility when animating. Vectors can be infinitely scaled. V.S. a rasterized image which can't because it's made of pixels. Hence blurriness when scaled. . Then I separate each layer I know I'm going to move or manipulate onto their own individual layer. This is done in illustrator pretty easily through #AdobeIllustrator "release to layers (Sequence)" DON'T FORGET TO NAME THOSE. . I import into the saved .AI file into #AdobeAfterEffects I create shapes from those vector paths. "right click -> create -> shapes from vector paths" . Then I get to work either masking or animating. This all stems from the initial conversation I have with the client (a face to face to understand what they envision) that way I can ensure I bring that to life! . I particularly like the "Stroke" Effect in AE to quickly and easily animate a shape that isn't a path. If my logo is more path based I'd use the "Trim Paths" effect style. . I usually like to add a camera movement to my animations just because it make a more dynamic scene to add the 3rd level of movement to an animation. . ADD SFX! It goes so far... Visuals are great but adding some kind of sound will help add to that little extra umph that it might need. . Lastly I export a few different aspect ratios for the client. That way they can use it wherever they want whether it's vertical or horizontal video. I also include an alpha .mov that way they can overlay this animation as well without a background. (and the vector file of their logo if they didn't already have one) . And that's it! I send it off and give revisions if revisions are needed. . Hope this helps you understand my process on tackling this particular job comrades. . . . . #logodesigner #logoprocess #logomaker #logoanimation #graphicdesign #graphicdesigner #graphicdesigners #logotype #designtips #logotypes #animation

Here's what you can do to elevate your Motion Graphic Edits. 1- Learn the Fundamentals: Study the 12 principles of animation developed by Disney animators (e.g., squash and stretch, timing, anticipation, etc.). 2- Design Basics: Learn design elements such as Composition, Color theory, Typography, and Visual storytelling, which are essential in motion graphics. 3- Master the Tools: Choose any tool to start working on motion graphics (Eg - Adobe After Effects or DaVinci Resolve) Get familiar with its keyframes, masking, and effects. 4- Practice and Personal Projects: Start with small projects. Try animating a short sequence, creating a title animation, or designing a logo animation. 5- Stay Updated on Trends and Tools: Motion graphics and animation are constantly evolving, so stay up-to-date with industry trends and new features in tools.

🎥 Throwback: My First Motion Graphic Video (9 Years Ago!) 🎬 Excited to share the first-ever motion graphic video I created 9 years ago! This project was a turning point in my journey as a Motion Graphics Designer. I got my start at Terrabytes Visual Solution, working on architectural videos by compositing 3D renders and creating basic logo animations. A year in, I realized other designers were producing high-quality motion graphics, and I wanted to do the same. Not knowing where to begin, I decided to replicate a complex video from YouTube, which already had the voiceover and visuals. The process was tough—camera animations, complex motion graphics, and lots of layers—but I learned so much and finally completed my first stunning motion graphic video. Key learnings: - Replicating a finished video taught me how to understand and execute complex animations. - It gave me better judgment on what makes a quality motion graphic. Check out the video below! It’s a milestone that shaped the way I work today. 🎞️👇 #MotionGraphics #FirstProject #Throwback #LearningJourney #Animation #VideoProduction #PixelClayDesign

Are you looking to give more importance to your design system? 🤔 ➡ A design system offers several advantages for teams and organizations, including consistency, efficiency, scalability, and improved collaboration. ➡ With a design system, you can promote consistency across all digital products and platforms, streamline the design and development process, scale effectively, and facilitate better collaboration among cross-functional teams. I used Adobe After Effects to design this kinetic typography animation. #designsystem #animation #kinetictypography #AdobeAfterEffects

Here is how you can create easy animations with AI. STORYBOARD → Midjourney v6.1 ANIMATE → Runway GEN-3 Combine. Here is the process: - MIDJOURNEY PROCESS: 01. Outline Story 02. Outline Aesthetic 02. Create Base Prompt 03. Utilize SREF for style transfer 04. Iterate prompt for scenes + action - RUNWAY PROCESS: 01. Upload MJ image 02. Create Base Prompt Structure 03. Test motions/shot types/small details - SIMPLE STORY: Celtic King giving a battle speech to his army - AESTHETIC OUTLINE: + Setting: Misty/wet Celtic Hills + Tonality: Deep light/dark contrast + Color Scheme: Greens and blacks + Emotion: Epic/power/grandeur - BASE MIDJOURNEY PROMPT STRUCTURE: [shot type], [subject + action], Celtic hills settings, intricate textures and details, grandeur and power, contrasting light and dark tones, greens and blacks, ethereal lighting, 50mm high precision photography --ar 16:9 --s 250 --v 6.1 --p [code] - MIDJOURNEY PROMPT EXAMPLE: Epic high angle shot of a Celtic warrior king on a cliff, massive army in the Celtic hills below, intricate detail and textures, grandeur and power, contrasting dark and light tones, greens and blacks, ethereal lighting, 50mm high precision photography --ar 16:9 --p [code] --stylize 250 --v 6.1 - RUNWAY PROMPT STRUCTURE 01: [camera motion/shot type], [subject + action + motion/direction], [color/tones], 35mm style - RUNWAY PROMPT EXAMPLE 01: ascending blurred shot, sharpening to reveal celtic king with ambient motion on a cliff overlooking his army, contrasting greens and blacks, 35mm style - RUNWAY PROMPT EXAMPLE 02: cinematic shot of boots walking forward away from us, mud and puddles, contrasting greens and blacks, 35mm style - RUNWAY PROMPT EXAMPLE 03: rotating shot of a stone sculpture, revealing beautiful waterfall in the background, misty environment, contrasting green and black colors, 35mm style - QUICK NOTES: + Everything starts in Midjourney + RW gens are reliant on good ref images + Good ref images need solid MJ prompting + Try prompting motion/action into your images + It gives RW a head start and direction + Use SREF in MJ for consistent aesthetic + Use Personalize in MJ also for consistent aesthetic. Shoutout to Rory Flynn for generating this!
