At Safeguard Global, we believe in helping our Guardians through whatever life throws at them. Our Chief People Officer, Katherine Loranger, understands the importance of that, as last year she went through her own breast cancer diagnosis and journey, and she brings that perspective to how we support our Guardians. 🎗️ By sharing her story, Katherine wants every Guardians to know that they are not alone in their struggles. She hopes that her journey can be a source of strength, hope and encouragement for anyone facing difficulty, whether it be health-related or personal. Together, we can find support and strength in each other. 🩷 Read more about Katherine’s journey below 👇 #SafeguardGlobal #BreastCancerAwareness #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth

i love that my #RTX coworkers support Breast Cancer Awareness. Here are some facts: In the United States, around 310,720 women are expected to be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in 2024. This is about 1 in 3 of all new female cancers each year. Here are some other breast cancer statistics: About 13% of women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. The risk of breast cancer increases with age, from 0.49% at age 30 to 4.09% at age 70. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death among women in the U.S., after lung cancer. For non-Hispanic Black women and Hispanic women, breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer death. #RTX #CollinsAerospace #BreastCancerAwareness #Overcomers

My amazing colleague Olia Bartley, MBA, PMP, ACP, CCMP and I proudly wore pink last week! This was totally unplanned, but it turned out to be a perfect show of support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer impacts so many lives, both directly and indirectly. Every day, women and men face the challenges of battling this disease, making it crucial for us to raise awareness and support those in the fight. Let’s take this month to honor all survivors, both men and women, and to remember those we’ve lost. Together, we can make a difference through awareness, education, and support. I’m happy to share my journey, and I’d love to hear your stories or how you’re contributing to this cause! #Survivor #BreastCancerAwareness #WearPink #TogetherWeCanMakeADifference #MaleWarriorsWelcome
