However, it ended up being an example of a “solution seeking a problem” that kind of does not exist, resorting to expensive and impractical tactics to try to gain traction. When bringing a product to market, remember, it's an uphill battle – fighting for attention, shelf space, and ultimately, a customer's hard-earned money. So, ensure your product solves a genuine pain point. After 20 years as an overseas entrepreneur, I often think the Australian Innovation Welfare state is designed by bureaucrats who are chained to a wall in a cave. They interpret innovation by the shadows cast on the wall from the light outside. “There is no need for Angel Investors and AngelLoop as, this idea works overseas so it should work here!” They spend $billions on fake or Veblenian Entrepreneurship https://lnkd.in/gVi87gwm based on shadows they see in the cave and can’t figure out why their programs don’t work. Kanga Coolers is the worlds first iceless cooler for your case, keeping beverages cold for up to 7 hours. The co-founders all had expensive coolers that could keep their drinks cold for 3 weeks, but never used them to keep their drinks cold for 3 hours. They were too bulky to carry, and getting ice each time was a hassle. So, they would just grab a cold case from the store and just drink it as it got warm. That’s when it hit them: if they're already getting a cold case from the store, why not just keep it cold for the entire time they're actually going to enjoy it? The concept behind the Kase Mate was born: a soft cooler that slides around a cold case of beer, and keeps it cold for up to 7 hours without the need for ice.
