We believe that product visualization should be collaborative, easily accessible, and incredibly convenient. And it seems we're not the only ones! We're thrilled to announce an investment round led by byFounders alongside angels Christian Hvitved, Anders Bo Pedersen, Lasse Espeholt, Anders Thorhauge Sandholm, Bjarke Klinge Staun. Curious? Reach out for a sneak peek!
Look around you and take a moment to register the items you see 👀 It's almost certain that each of these items has been modeled in 3D. The screen you're reading this on, the pen on your desk, and the chair you’re sitting in - almost everything we physically produce goes through thousands of iterations of 3D modeling and rendering, involving continuous collaboration and updates across teams. Much like the Pitch Uizard by Miro Labs or Figma doc you work on with your colleagues. But, unlike these smart tools, there are no go-to solutions that provide ways of working and sharing files together in real time for 3D modeling. Enter Figurement: building the next-gen collaborative 3D rendering platform for photorealistic product images 🖥 We are thrilled to introduce Jesper Mosegaard & Søren Skovsbøll to our community and to back them alongside a strong set of angels with backgrounds from Google, DeepMind, Meta Reality Labs, and CrowdStrike (Humio) including Bjarke Klinge Staun and Lasse Espeholt from our Collective. ✌ 📌 https://lnkd.in/dUd3UTAQ
Very excited to be a small part of your journey 🚀 🤩
Stoked to be supporting you lot. Rock on 🤘
Exciting news, Jesper and Søren! This will be a huge step forward for collaborative 3D visualization, and I'm thrilled to be a small part of it. Can't wait to see what Figurement does next!
Engineer and entrepreneur
3moThis is one of Jespers first photos in Figurement. With Figurement materials are put on the model, in this case leather, metal, and plastic. Colors can be chosen and light sources can be inserted. It is possbile to place the headphones in the dessert or in the living room with backgrounds. Everyone involved in product development can collaborate in Figurement, as it runs in a browser and on any device. Designers, product managers, engineers, marketing manufactures and stakeholders can seamlessly collaborate. Creating new photos and videos for marketing is easy. Change colors and place the headphones in different environments can all be done from the browser without needing special software installed. Being able to create photo realistic images in a browser, using raytracing, is possible with all the advancements in web technology (like WebAssembly) in recent years.
