After spending many years working in feature film production, I transitioned to the world of Visual Effects (VFX). However, I quickly discovered that my usual bag of tricks was insufficient; in VFX, the artistry lies in subtlety, naturalism, and technical accuracy. Consider a scenario: if a character weighs 95KG and faces a 20km/h wind while only being able to control the top part of their tentacles, the movement must adhere to these parameters with precision. This level of technical correctness is paramount, akin to the standards set in the Star Wars universe, where established rules guide audience engagement.
