Brewing the Future of Tea 🫖 ☕ In 2015, Amar Tea, makers of the iconic Society Tea, envisioned revolutionizing tea processing and warehousing to match the shift toward flavored teas. Their bold dream was a fully automated facility managing the journey from raw materials to recipe blending, packaging, and precise dispatch. Finding no global benchmarks, they partnered with Godrej Körber Supply Chain Ltd, who transformed their vision into reality and an order was placed for the automated warehouse. Through tireless innovation, a one-of-a-kind facility emerged, setting new standards in automation and precision. All customers until date who visited this site were left in awe of the complexity managed with minimal manpower, showcasing a warehouse of the future. Impressed by this ground breaking achievement, US based global soft beverage manufacturer chose Godrej Körber for their own greenfield project in the east of India, trusting the expertise that had redefined the tea industry. Today, Amar Tea’s story inspires Indian tea industry with an aspiration proving that with vision and innovation, anything is possible. As one visitor remarked, "This isn’t just automation — it’s the future, perfected. To showcase to the Indian Tea Industry, together with Society Tea management, we agreed to make this video case study after 3 years to open it up to the world to see and get inspired from this project.
