In this years' FILTECH Exhibition Innovation Guide Entegris is proud to present: 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭: 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 Effective #chemicalfiltration needs accurate contaminant data. Entegris Analytical Services provides measurement of #airborne #molecular Contamination (AMC) in commercial environments. #contaminants are identified and detected down to parts per trillion (ppt, 10-12) concentration levels, with 99% confidence. Whereas health concerns usually center around ppm level contamination, product and electronics corrosion can happen at much lower concentrations. Asset archives, data centers, control rooms, hospitals, fuel cells, turbines all need to be protected from gas-phase impact. Qualitative measurement techniques like corrosion strips do not provide sufficient information to formulate optimized filter solutions... Hello Everyone, I am delighted to share the publication of our research paper presented at the 2024 16th International Conference on Computer and Automation Engineering (ICCAE), focusing on advancements in vial cap inspection within the pharmaceutical sector! Under the expert guidance of Professor Nathir Rawashdeh and alongside the dedicated contributions of my teammates Amey Hukkeri and Prarthana Hegde, we tackled the inefficiencies of high-cost inspection setups prevalent in the industry. Our innovative approach introduces a cost-effective alternative without compromising performance, utilizing infrared radiation sensors integrated with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Key highlights of our research include: - Development of an economical inspection setup with comparable efficiency - Integration of infrared sensors for precise detection of missing caps and seal issues - Implementation of ladder logic programming for real-time assessment on conveyor systems This achievement not only underscores our team's commitment to advancing pharmaceutical manufacturing practices but also highlights our dedication to innovation in engineering solutions. For more details, please read the PDF on the IEEE page: [Read the PDF](https://lnkd.in/gnYbm5gW) We look forward to sharing detailed insights and engaging in discussions on how this research can contribute to optimizing operations within the pharmaceutical industry. #ICCAE2024 #ResearchPaper #PharmaceuticalIndustry #VialCapInspection #Innovation #PLC

Accurate detection of toxic gases in different environments, by graphene-based metasurfaces, was a project that was successfully modeled mathematically and a good convergence was obtained with full-wave simulations. This project was defined based on the fact that different gases change the refractive index of the environment in which they are located. According to such a view, optical metasurfaces can sense and recognize various materials from toxic gases to biological samples. The most interesting thing is that only one single structure can distinguish several toxic gases such as CO, N2, N2O, CH4, and O3! The results of this research have been published in the "Sensing and Bio-Sensing Research" journal and are now available for those interested. What lies ahead is an endless expanse of the potential of metasurfaces to replace conventional electronics. This replacement will overturn design, diagnosis, analysis, and even application rules and regulations. https://lnkd.in/dsTZaFCq #Graphene #Toxic #Metasurface
