CCare Changes People Lives. What a Fantastic Charity! CCare has without doubt become one of Melbourne’s biggest and best Jewish charities. Rabbi Shlomo Nathanson (Toorak and Port Melbourne synagogues) started CCare about 10 years ago delivering a few meals a week to Jews living in poverty. The average non Jew believes ALL Jews are rich. That is not correct. You will be shocked to know that about 30% live in poverty! All this week their huge Annual Campaign takes place where EVERY donation will be tripled by sponsors. CCare has some fantastic sponsors, some of the richest people in Australia. Donate $100 and you will be donating $400! CCare delivers 832 meals every week, delivers 1,088 pantry boxes a month and on average has 184 volunteers a week. Fanatstic. As a CCare ambassador, I am so happy to volunteer from time to time and make my annual significant donation. If you would like to donate and change people’s lives go the CCare web site next week and make a donation (whatever you can afford) and your donation will be tripled. Long Live CCare. What a fantastic organization and what a great success story! Lets hope it continues for many years to come. #Finance Manager #Profitability Outcomes #Business Growth #Cost Savings #Cash Flow Boosts # KPI’s Achievement #Reduction of Debt # Money Savings via Automation

Today is the International Day of Charity – a fantastic opportunity to recognise the amazing work carried out by charitable organisations around the world, and to make a donation if you can. We know there are lots of charities to choose from, but here’s why we’d love you to choose RAPAID: 👉 A casualty can tragically bleed to death within just three to five minutes, often before the emergency services have time to arrive. By equipping cabs with life-saving bandages, RAPAID empowers ordinary people to flag down the vital resources they need to #stopthebleed within those first, critical minutes following an injury. 👉 RAPAID's focus is on stopping the bleed. Your funding helps us extend our mission far and wide, ensuring that emergency bandage kits are accessible in a variety of public places – from schools and taxis to workplaces and other venues. By supporting RAPAID, you're contributing to building a resilient community where people are equipped to help each other in times of crisis. Together, we’re creating a safer UK, one kit at a time. Charity work is a generous act of helping the poor, ill, less privileged, or orphanage. The practice of charity means voluntary, extending a helping hand to those in need as a humanitarian act, donation, or charity work. These are the common thoughts that comes to mind when we started the foundation in 2014. Though, my perspective has changed over time. Charity is beyond charity, gifts, or aid. Today, many use charity as a controlling tool to manipulate others. Prominent men use charity to gain self-interest. Crooks use charity to scam. Unfortunately, men use charity for easy money. As a believer, I am seriously concerned. I understand that part of our social obligation is to practice giving. On the other hand, people don’t want to get scammed by someone who acts as if they are indigent. We work hard to earn. We want to ensure that we put a value on the things we spend and give. Someone like me don’t want to show off and be arrogant when helping others. I want to help the deprived and inspire others to do the same. Proverbs 19:17, Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done. Luke 6:38, Give, and it will be given to you. I learned that charity means giving out LOVE with the purest intention from the heart. We don’t need to be rich to give love. “We ought to be people of compassion. And being people of compassion means we deny ourselves, and our self-centeredness”. - Mike Huckabee. It means giving and extending help without expecting something in return. It means that God’s grace is for everybody. You’re responsible for spreading the blessings given to you. It is crucial to have a genuine intention and cause when giving and helping. Why do you help? Why do you provide? Why do you share? Why do you support it? Why do you assist? My believe is that in everything we do, we must put our hearts on it. Our intention must be pure. And if these are what reflect in your act, then, bless your heart! You are genuinely doing the true meaning of charity. Join me. Together we can help. Susan J. This winter, NASS is launching a Winter Appeal to provide essential support and services to people living with axial SpA. Your donations will enable us to: • Offer advice and resources to help individuals manage their symptoms. • Provide supportive community connections to combat isolation. Every contribution makes a difference. For example: • A donation of £25 can help up to 40 people receive at least one guidebook from their rheumatologist to help them manage their symptoms between hospital appointments. • £50 can help one person apply for disability benefits with expert advice and support. • £250 can help people with axial SpA meet others going through similar experiences at a Your SpAce meetup. Together, we can ensure that no one faces this winter alone or without the support that they need. Yesterday I got a call from a charity for whom I was a SYBUNT (ie. I have given Some Year But Unfortunately Not This year). Let's call them Charity Proactive. The telefundraiser was very nice and asked me for a donation. My husband and I have created our list of intended donations for this year and we have made most of them already. Charity Proactive was not on the list this year. But given I had this nice lady on the phone, I thought, "Oh well, another $50 isn't going to hurt us." We're blessed that the cost of living crisis is not a crisis for us. So I said yes, got out my credit card and donated. So think about it: - I had not planned to give to Charity Proactive this year - but squeaky wheels and all that. - Charity Proactive asked me nicely anyway - people give when you ask them to (at least some of the time). - The problem and solution was outlined on the phone but to be honest, I can't remember much of what the nice lady said. I just know it will help people and help save lives. Donors don't always need tons of info about your evidence-based, innovative approaches in order to give. Ask and some donors will say no. But some will say yes. #fundraising #donors

Dear friends, Today, I reach out to you with a heartfelt plea for help. Madalina, a brave mother of three, is in a desperate situation and needs our support. After several surgeries, Madalina has lost one of her legs and is now confined to a wheelchair. These tragic events have placed her in a difficult position where she can barely provide for her children and herself. The Urgent Situation Madalina has not been able to pay her rent for the past seven months. Understandably frustrated, the landlord has given her a final warning and plans to involve the authorities to evict her from the house. This family is on the brink of homelessness. How You Can Help I am asking you to contribute as little as one euro, dollar, or pound to help Madalina and her children. Your generous donations will be used primarily for: Paying off overdue rent: Ensuring the family has a roof over their heads. Buying food: Providing the essentials for Madalina and her children. Procuring a prosthetic leg: Helping Madalina regain some mobility and independence. Every Contribution Counts No amount is too small. Every single donation will make a significant difference in their lives. Imagine the impact we can collectively make if each of us gives just a tiny portion of what we have. It could mean the difference between security and uncertainty for Madalina and her children. Spread the Word If you cannot donate at this time, you can still help by spreading the word. Share this post, tell your friends, and encourage others to visit our blog and contribute. Together, we can make a monumental difference. Visit our blog for more details and to make a donation: https://lnkd.in/dRTrpWff

Can we count on your business to help us bridge the gap? It's a tough time for charities as well as individuals. More and more burden has fallen back on the charitable sector to fill the gaps in provision in society. At Feeding Families we aren't a food bank but we try to stand in all those gaps where people fall through the cracks. This year we have worked hard at targeting those in deepest poverty. We've seen some shocking statistics and have worked harder than ever to ensure that the hardest hit groups get a Christmas dinner or box of festive food. As you can imagine, more people than ever knocked on our door and we just didn't have the resources to help everyone. However, where we could we have stretched to help as many as possible. This meant that, where people met the strict criteria, we didn't turn anyone away. However, this also increased the cost of our project to £226,530 and we still have a gap leading up to Christmas. We are currently at £211,182 and need your help to fill that gap. A donation from your business will ensure we can continue to support more families, making sure they can enjoy a festive meal and the comfort of knowing they are not alone. Please consider a generous contribution today to help us reach more families in need this Christmas: https://lnkd.in/ez5kk7NJ You can donate via the link below or email juliet@feedingfamilies.org.uk Juliet Sanders, Sarah McPhie, Steven Sheard, Libby Malcolm, Rachel Jane Lister

UK's Economic Dark Days bringing Charities to their Knees: ◾Less government funding for charities. ◾ Higher costs for charities. ◾ More people needing more help. ◾ Less disposable income for people and organisations to donate. It is a molotov cocktail and the rag has been lit. Many are already suffering. I speak to struggling charity leaders most days. I am concerned about our present and despair for our future. If you can afford to give a little more to help charity, please reflect and consider doing so. Check out the comments for the full story of why one of our finest is axeing one in seven of its workforce. #ukeconomy #donate #charity
