From Mixing Liquor To Mixing Words In 2018, I started my career as a restaurant runner. Over the years, I worked my way up to becoming a waiter and then a mixologist. Five years in hospitality taught me adaptability and the importance of connecting with people. But in 2024, I made a bold decision to change paths entirely and pursue a career in Web3. Starting over wasn’t easy—it meant learning new skills, stepping out of my comfort zone, and embracing the unknown. This year, I completed a social media management course and took on my first role as a Social Media Manager for NucleusDAO, a tech brand exploring innovative solutions. During my time as CEO at Lemonly, we created the Lemonly Hackathon, a 24-hour sprint fueled by ideas and collaboration to build something that will make the company better. And it was a joy to share a bit of advice as they begin their professional journeys. Here were a few that resonated across the small panel of Thrivent leaders – and ones I still strive to channel each day.  Follow your curiosity. Lean into learning.  If a considering a new opportunity makes you nervous, that's a good thing... what makes you nervous makes you grow. #TeamThrivent
