On the occasion of the High-Level Conference held during the 5th edition of Hydrogen Week in Bruxelles, an event dedicated to innovation and research in the hydrogen sector, our SVP of Innovation, Paolo Cerioli, discussed Fincantieri's role as a pioneer of decarbonization in the naval and maritime sector and as an enabler of the energy transition. A highlight of this event, which is fundamental to us due to the importance of the topics covered, was the announcement and presentation of our project "Wave 2 the Future", which also see the participation of our subsidiary Isotta Fraschini Motori. This program aims at developing hydrogen technologies and their integration onboard to decarbonize shipping, reducing environmental impact while ensuring the long-term resilience of the maritime industry.
