When Steffen Pauls, founder of Moonfare & 7GC & Co, left KKR in 2015, he wanted to keep investing in private equity but the minimum ticket was 10 million euros, so he gathered a group of friends interested in investing as well and managed to access the private equity market. This is how Moonfare started, and now they have €2.7 bn in AUM and +60.000 members. As an EUVC groupie, I recommend this episode!
