Maximall Pompeii: with the scheduled inauguration in November, media interest in the large-scale real estate project by IrgenRE, iDEAS engineering and architecture and Design International continues to grow. Our company, within the intervention, has been involved in two main activities: structural, seismic and geotechnical design; primary urbanization works related to the facility. In this article of Largo Consumo (September 2024 edition), some figures are presented that well describe the impact that Maximall Pompeii will have in the territory: an investment of more than 200 million euros that aims to transform the mall into an international-level benchmark and to produce wealth for the area's businesses and families. Maximall Pompeii will host about 200 brands, a 4-star Marriott Hotel with 135 rooms; a 1.000-seat auditorium on about 3.000sqm that incorporates cinema, theater and conference room; 30 food units spread over 3.000sqm; an outdoor amphitheater-square for events of 6.500sqm with a dancing fountain whose jet is over 25 meters high; a second indoor multimedia square of 800sqm; a parking lot of 3.500 cars and 30 tourist buses. The project also includes an equipped green park open to the public of 50.000sqm and a 10.000sqm rooftop, on which the enchanting view of the Gulf of Naples can be admired. The focus on culture is also very strong. IrgenRE will finance the renovation and the maintenance of the Centenary House of Pompeii, which is well connected with the main attractions of the place, the excavations of Pompeii and the shrine of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii. Not only tourism, leisure, shopping, food & beverage, entertainment and edutainment. But also history and culture for a unique and unrepeatable experience.
