Giving thanks through generosity. Check out this quote: “You don’t become generous by accident. Like with finances, fitness, or your career, you need a real vision and strategy to succeed. To be clear, we do need boundaries and to be centered. If we do this well, we can all become a powerful, collective force for good. But without a plan, we won’t be centered. The plan of action is what keeps us healthy and focused.” I love the idea of planning generosity. Being intentional about it. We are all busy making lists of what we need to buy for Thanksgiving dinner and what we need to buy for Christmas gifs. What if we make a list of what we need to do to live a generous life? What if we plan for it? I have a strong feeling we (and I include me in this, for sure) will do better than how we are currently doing it. Being intentional about stewarding treasure? 5 rules to make Thanksgiving awesome. 1) Regardless of how you feel about the election don't take it out on your family. 2) Even when your family is annoying recognize they are doing the best they can with what they have to work with. 3) Eat what you want. You don't have to finish what you try. 4)Find a Salvation Army near you, spend time serving the less fortunate, and get some perspective. 5) This is a great holiday it's about Thanks and Giving. You do not have to have anything to be grateful. Giving what you can will increase your Joy.

As Easter approaches, a time of profound reflection and celebration for many of us, we at Parable Communications are reminded of our shared values with faith-based organizations. We, too, believe in hope, renewal, and the incredible gift of salvation. As we navigate the journey of helping these organizations amplify their voices, we're also reminded of Easter's more profound mission that we all strive to uphold. Easter is more than a holiday; it's a pivotal moment that offers everyone the gift of grace and redemption. It's a time when the message of love, sacrifice, and resurrection comes to the forefront, reminding us of the ultimate sacrifice made for salvation. In this season of renewal, we're inspired to think about how we, as a collective community, can further embody these principles in our daily missions. How can each of us, in our unique roles, carry the message of hope and love to those around us? How can our collective actions reflect the transformative power of this season? If you lead a faith-based organization, Easter is a profound opportunity for you to reconnect with your core mission. It's a chance to reflect on how your work serves as a testament to the values we cherish during this season. Whether through service, outreach, or simply being a beacon of hope in your community, every effort makes a difference. As we celebrate Easter, remember the gift of salvation and new beginnings. May this time encourage us to look beyond our challenges and see the opportunities for growth, impact, and renewal in our missions.

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes This Memorial Day 🐾 As we gather to commemorate Memorial Day, let's take a moment to honor not only the brave men and women who have served our country but also the courageous service dogs who have stood alongside them. As you celebrate this important day, remember that large gatherings and celebrations can be overwhelming for our dogs. Here are a few tips to ensure they stay comfortable and safe during Memorial Day festivities: PROVIDE A QUIET SPACE: If you’re hosting or attending a busy event, make sure there’s a quiet, safe spot for your dog to retreat to if the festivities get too overwhelming. MONITOR FOOD AND TREATS: With barbecues and outdoor meals, be vigilant about what your dog might snatch up. Keep unhealthy or unsafe foods out of reach. KEEP THEM SECURE: If your celebration includes a lot of coming and going, make sure your dog can't slip out through an open door. Check that your yard is secure if they'll be spending time outside. FIREWORKS - if you are attending a fireworks celebration leave your dogs safelyat home. Let’s ensure this Memorial Day is enjoyable for everyone in the family, including our four-legged friends. Wishing everyone a peaceful and happy Memorial Day! #MemorialDay #HonorOurHeroes #ServiceDogs #Veterans #JoyfulDog #VirginiaDogTrainer #DogTrainer #TimetoTrain
