Such a great move by the Resuscitation Council UK. For every minute that passes without CPR and defibrillation, the chances of survival decrease by 7%–10%. The more people who are training in giving CPR and the use of an AED, can save someone's life. Studies show that 70% of cardiac arrests happen at home or in public places, yet AEDs are often underutilised in these environments as only 19% of people in the UK feel confident in using an AED.
