#Brahmakumari #Rajyog The Key To Beautiful Relationships – Unconditional Love (Part 1) We all live in a world where love is the most precious virtue or quality that exists and we are all souls full of love. It’s only when we lose access to our inner treasure of love that we start expecting love from others and begin searching for it outside, from others. We even search from the physical world, which we commonly call flora and fauna. Flora refers to plants around us and fauna refers to animals. It is not wrong to love and be loved by humans and nature. That is not searching for love. Giving love to humans and animals and receiving love from them and also loving plants and nature in general, has existed in the world right from the time the world was a beautiful paradise. That paradise was full of happiness, love and purity. That world is also called the Garden of Eden or Garden of Allah or Swarg or commonly called the Golden Age or heaven. There is a difference between receiving love and experiencing happiness because of that and searching for it from others. Also, when we make ourselves dependent on this love for remaining happy, it means there is an emptiness inside us. The love that makes us empty instead of filling us and giving us a feeling of fulfillment is a love based on a physical consciousness. On the other hand, a love based on soul consciousness is a love that does not attach itself to the other person so much, so as to bring about sorrow when it is not received or when the love is no longer available to us. This happens when the other person leaves us or stops talking to us or goes away or does not love us anymore for some reason or the other. (To be continued tomorrow …)

The concept of "Shiv Shakti" is one of the most profound and complex in Hindu philosophy, symbolizing the union of the masculine and feminine principles, consciousness and energy, or static and dynamic aspects of the universe. Shiv represents the passive, unmanifested, and formless consciousness. He is the ultimate reality, the cosmic spirit that pervades everything yet remains detached from the material world. In the context of spiritual practices, Shiv is the state of pure awareness, beyond the mind and senses, where there is no duality, no time, and no movement. Shakti, on the other hand, is the active, dynamic force that brings the universe into existence. She is the divine energy that manifests as creation, sustenance, and destruction, constantly moving and evolving. Shakti is the life force, the power that animates all beings and drives the cosmos. In the union of Shiv and Shakti, we see a complete picture of reality. Without Shakti, Shiv is inert, and without Shiv, Shakti is chaotic. Together, they represent the balance and harmony of the universe. This union is often depicted in various forms of art and worship, from the Ardhanarishvara form, where Shiv and Shakti are depicted as two halves of a single body, to the cosmic dance of Nataraja, where the dance of creation and destruction takes place. Shiv Shakti is not just a religious or philosophical concept but a guiding principle for life. It teaches us the importance of balance, the need to harmonize our inner and outer worlds, and the understanding that creation and destruction, male and female, light and darkness, are all part of a single, inseparable reality.

Ardhanarishvara – The Unity of Opposites As Ardhanarishvara, Shiva is depicted as half male and half female, symbolizing the unity of masculine and feminine principles. This form represents the inseparable nature of Shiva and Shakti (Parvati), embodying the concept that creation arises from the balance and harmony of these opposing forces. I went to haridwar today as it is the last day of shraad, also Kartik masya that holds a significance in hindu dharma! Kartik Masya holds great significance in Hindu culture and spirituality for several reasons: Festivals: Many important festivals occur during this month, including Diwali, which celebrates the victory of light over darkness, and Govardhan Puja, honoring Lord Krishna's lifting of the Govardhan Hill. Fasting and Penance: Devotees often observe fasts and perform penance, believing that these practices purify the mind and soul. The month is considered highly auspicious for spiritual activities. Pilgrimage: Many undertake pilgrimages to sacred sites, particularly to places like Varanasi and Vrindavan, which are believed to be especially potent during this time. Worship of Deities: Kartik is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna. Devotees perform rituals and offer prayers, especially to Tulsi, which is considered sacred. Rituals for Ancestors: Some families also perform rites for their ancestors during this month, seeking blessings for peace and prosperity. Overall, Kartik Masya is a time for reflection, devotion, and community celebration.

Eid Celebration: Why, When, How Dear Readers, Tomorrow marks the celebration of #Eid, one of our finest days. Eid Mubarak! Wishing you all happiness every year. In this post, I want to delve into our celebration: why this day, the significance of its timing, how Eid is declared, customary practices such as greetings, and important traditions. I often speak about Saudi Arabia because it's where I was born and raised, and I can talk it from experience. Readers are encouraged to share their own experiences. Why; Timing of Eid: Muslims have only two Eids: #EidAlFitr and Eid al-Adha. Tomorrow is Eid al-Fitr, meaning "breaking the fast." It's the day after Ramadan when people break their fast during the day, unlike Ramadan. It's a reward from God for those who fasted, a day of joy, happiness, and feasting. Thus, God prohibited fasting on this day to involve everyone in the festivities. "Eid" in Arabic is derived from the word "return," something that returns regularly, whether by itself or people returning to it, referring to places. This Eid is a time. When; All divine and prophetic commands regarding worship are linked to the lunar months, not solar ones. Thus, the timing of Hajj and fasting is determined by the lunar month. The beginning of the lunar month is determined by either calculation or visual sighting. In Islamic law, visual sighting is the primary method, with calculation as a backup. On the 29th night of Ramadan, the crescent moon is sought; if it's not seen, the Supreme Court waits until sunset in the last city in Saudi Arabia. If no testimony of moon sighting is received, the entire month is completed. This procedure applies to all months throughout the year. There are practical procedures which I've omitted due to their unnecessary detail. How; Celebrations: Since specific phrases for Eid greetings aren't mandated in Sharia, any greeting is acceptable. Here are some common greetings: - "#EidMubarak" means "Blessed Eid." - "Kul 'am wa antum bikhair" means "May you be well every year." - "Min al-'a'idiin wal-fa'iziin" wishes you many happy returns of the day and success in your endeavors. Due to Saudi Arabia's cultural diversity, each region has its own famous dishes for iftar and desserts. International chocolates and Eastern sweets are common in gatherings. Celebrations and dances vary, adding to their beauty. During Eid, people wear new clothes, opting for formal attire, even children enjoy dressing up. Charitable acts include giving food staples to the needy. Recreational activities during Eid include visits, trips to parks, and making the most of leisure time. I've taken a moment to write this post for you, so forgive any shortcomings. I am wishing you all the best in health, well-being, peace, happiness, and success in your endeavors every year. With love, Mohammed bin Hussain Al-Qahtani
