Today marks the final session of our 2024 CPD Training series, held at the Carlton Hotel in Dublin and delivered by Gerry Hargadon, our Sales Director. Practice what you preach! We’re big fans of sales & marketing training for our customers - so of course we should do a lot of training internally ourselves. Today we’re running training on creating impact run by our awesome Liza, Martin and August. We run a continuous internal learning program for and by colleagues with a full-day training session every other month. In the short term - not a lot of billable hours here 😅 in the longer term - hopefully bigger and better impact for our customers and ourselves 😉

Love getting out and about to the Leyton UK offices and meeting the sales teams in person. Yes, I'm a hermit who much prefers hiding in my home office most days. Supported by some very wonderful business leaders, I delivered my first online pricing strategy workshop this week - a key milestone in my mission to help more businesses understand how to use price as a lever for success. 💡 Why This Matters: Many business owners are too close to their business to see the immense value they deliver to clients. This often leads to: - Self-doubt about pricing - Fear of increasing prices - Defaulting to discounting to win business 🚀 The Workshop: Designed to help business owners develop confidence in their pricing strategy and compete on value, not price. The attendees of this workshop were all people I respect hugely in each of their respective business areas and I was extremely grateful that they were willing to help me test out a format of workshop that I could make a repeatable service. 🎵 Giving Back: 100% of profits from this pilot workshop are being donated to George's Rockstars, an amazing charity providing music therapy to children undergoing hospital treatment. Going forward, a percentage of all online workshop profits will support their incredible work. I had the absolute pleasure of attending a training session with Justin Neale from The Value Alchemists this morning, along with Paul Hill Jane Johnson Desi Cole Jo Ferguson Ian Shooter Klayton Berry 🎬. A perfect start to the new year as the emphasis was on value based pricing and how to promote the problem you solve for clients rather than focusing on price to grow a more profitable business. Even though it’s our busiest time of year (where’s the aspirin 😉) it was worth taking time out for - a perfect mix of anecdotes, numbers and his invaluable knowledge - and I can’t wait to put some of his ideas into practise.

A few days ago in a parking lot while I was waiting to pay, my parking ticket, a guy approached me and said to me: "Hi Pavle, how are you? I am from Sava penzisko drustvo a.d. Skopje and I remember you when you were doing training for us. I am happy to meet you and I just wanted to say Hi and to mention that the training was very good, and we really need more training like yours. It always good for everyone to spend time on learning and then on implementing something that they have learned." At the time he just added "I know that you may not remember me. There were 20+ people at the training, but I remember you and I remember a lot of things that you said at that training. It was a pleasure to meet you again. Hope I will have another chance to be in your training again." So I wanted to thanks my Sava penzisko drustvo a.d. Skopje friend and I hope to meet him again. It is not my first time people have recognized me and my work on the street, at some event, in a shopping mall, everywhere, and I must say that when someone stops me like my friend a few days ago, it is a full satisfaction, and it my energy to keep doing my job successfully and to give training maximum to my trainees on my trainings.
