Earlier this week, our CEO, chris kirke, and Commercial Director, Jon Cummings, attended The Food and Drink Federation’s Food & Drink Investment Summit. Following a fantastic keynote address from Rt Hon Steve Reed OBE MP, we heard some brilliant insights from the esteemed panel on driving growth and investment within the UK’s food and drink manufacturing industry. With a focus on bolstering UK food security, the event discussed the ambition to work with government to create and deliver a plan for growth that will help the sector realise its full potential. As an agri-tech firm ourselves, it was great to see automation and innovation considered a key part of this ambition, highlighting its value in optimising the supply chain and its ability to drive productivity and growth.
