Habitat for Humanity Zambia, as we forge the agenda ahead, it’s critical that we champion the voices of young people and create spaces where they don’t just participate but rather lead the process hinged on: 🌍 Sustainable Youth Leadership: Creating opportunities for youth to shape the future of our communities and the African continent at large. 💼 Equitable Employment & Entrepreneurship: Building pathways to meaningful careers and entrepreneurial opportunities for young people. 🎓 Relevant Education & Skills: Equipping youth with the tools, skills, and knowledge to innovate, excel, and lead with purpose. ✊ Youth Rights & Inclusion: Fostering a society and continent that values equality and justice, where every young person can thrive. November is indeed a call to Action which must allow us to harness every critical element for the change we would all want to see! Young people are not just the future of Africa but are its present! #AYM2024 #Agenda2063 #Youthpower #1mNextLevel #AfricanUnionYouth #MYSA

Today, Habitat for Humanity Zambia joins the rest of the continent in commemorating Africa Youth Day under the theme: “Educate an African fit for the 21st Century: Building resilient education systems for increased access to inclusive, lifelong, quality, and relevant learning in Africa.” As an organization, we deeply value the dedication of our youth in our various interventions. In celebration of Africa Youth Month, watch out for a number of exciting activities as we continue to meaningfully engage youths throughout November. Stay tuned for community service activites, radio programs and youth empowerment forums aimed at fostering skills and leadership among young people. Let's make this #AfricanYouthRising and take it to the next level with #1mNextLevel and #AYM2024!
