🌱 Growing direct funding pathways can support Indigenous-led strategies and resilience in the face of climate change. Last week at COP29 in Baku, our Executive Director Lourdes Inga was part of key discussions with the Resilience Hub addressing ‘The Pathway to Resilience: Transforming Climate Finance for Indigenous and Local Community-Led Action’. Lourdes’ contribution centred on how Philanthropy can be strengthened where Indigenous People can lead decision making and program design.  For there to be scalable solutions, successful models of funding also need to address the structural barriers that limit Indigenous Peoples' equitable access to philanthropic funding. #ClimateJustice #COP29 #DirectFunding #ClimateResilience #IndigenousKnowledge #indigenousphilanthropy
