Student Highlight: Ariel Powell Ariel Powell, a Ph.D.Candidate in Public Affairs at Florida International University has been selected to participate in the 2025 Building Future Faculty (BFF) Program at North Carolina State University. The BFF Program is a two-and-a-half-day workshop that prepares graduate students and postdoctoral scholars for faculty careers by providing insights and resources to help them navigate the academic landscape. Ariel is a doctoral student in her fifth year of our Ph.D. program. Dr. Emel Ganapati and Dr. Milena Neshkova co-chair Ariel’s dissertation committee.
