Five Mobility’s Post

Next week, healthcare organisations around the world come together to observe World Patient Safety Day. This year’s theme, "Improving Diagnosis," emphasises a vital component of patient care that directly impacts outcomes. As part of the campaign, the World Health Organization has created the following tips for improving diagnosis: 🔑Stay up-to-date on best practices 🔑Be thorough when assessing your patients 🔑Think critically and be aware of bias 🔑Communicate openly with your teams 🔑Involve your patients throughout the process While we may not be directly involved in diagnosis, we advocate for a holistic approach to patient care. Understanding what is "normal" for every individual, being aware of bias in relation to mobility and patient size and involving patients in their care will significantly improve patient outcomes 🙌 Our latest blog post touches on some of these tips as we aim to support healthcare workers in their incredibly important and vital work. Head over to our website and click on "News" to read more. #WorldPatientSafetyDay
