Awesome combo of Lean and SMED where all 3Ms have been addressed basis Mudas created due to Mura and Muri majorly! Great initiative of Continual improvement in Logistics and Supply chain Excellence where FIFO / LIFO can be addressed without human intervention. Only thing is Computer System Validation must to have to make sure the Right thing as an Effectiveness balancing with Efficiency.

First impression is promising and exciting for business productivity. I do not mean to rain over anyone’s parade, but my Safety brain goes towards the safety during routine operations, maintenance and emergency response. Thus, I cannot overlook the potential #SafetyHazards to personnel at warehouses and or distribution centers by having all these moving parts exposed. I would definitely invite the manufacturer of this Supply Chain solution to integrate #safety#interlock features to keep anyone from been severely injured by moving loads, #hazardous#energy in this system. And let’s not forget about emergency shutdowns, Maintenance Safety and all other applicable safety compliance features.
