Ensuring your stock is ready for the busiest time of the year can make or break your season's success. Here are some key strategies to help you stay ahead of the game. 1. Ship Your Inventory Early To maximize your holiday sales potential, I recommend sending your FBA inventory to fulfillment centers by August and September. This proactive approach ensures your products are in place and ready for the surge in holiday shopping. 2. Meet Critical Deadlines Timing is everything during the holiday season. Your inventory needs to arrive at Amazon's fulfillment centers by October 19, 2024, to be Prime badge-ready in time for Black Friday. This preparation allows you to leverage one of the most significant shopping days of the year. 3. Focus on Key Seasonal Periods *September and October: During these months, Amazon fulfillment centers concentrate on receiving inventory. This period is critical for ensuring your products are properly placed and ready for the holiday rush. *November and December: The Amazon focus shifts to processing customer orders. Be aware that shipment slots will be limited during these peak months. Planning ahead is essential to avoid disruptions. 4. Understand the Benefits This seasonal shift in focus at fulfillment centers is designed to help you: *Achieve faster delivery speeds, delighting your customers. *Maximize your sales potential during the holiday peak. *Manage storage efficiently with lower estimated capacity limits for October and November, typically providing enough space for six months of inventory. 5. 2023 Recap Part 2: eCommerce 2023 was a year of repositioning the business to not just sell products, but integrate with brands who want to restructure their precense on marketplaces. By scaling multiple brands double digit growth last year, we learned a lot. We failed a lot. We succeeded a lot. And overall we grew a lot. We built out the infrastructure to truly rebuild catalogs *and* supply chains. There is an advertising agency on every corner, but by building out the logistics, operations, and “boring stuff” — it facilitates much more flexibility on marketplaces. 2024 will be growing our existing brands more, working with a few more brands who align with our vision for growth, but most importantly building our infrastructure so we can do more with less. We are already working with new brands, hitting double digit numbers in 2024, and because we take logistics, inventory, and operations in house (the messy stuff!) it allows us to provide a very unique relationship with brands. A lot of fluff in this post, but after our most recent product launch touching around <5% TACOS and doing nearly 1000 units a month (adjusted because it’s only been out for 2-3 weeks), I’d say we are doing halfway decent. We look forward to continuing to scale our current brand partners and help those who are hopping on with us as well. #amazon #brand #amazonagency #ecommerce
