New research - The MAT Factor Today, we've published a new report highlighting some of the strategies used by multi-academy trusts (MATs) to support the development of secondary school pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The research highlights the pivotal role played by MAT SEND leaders, the challenges faced by MATs and their staff, and some of the different mechanisms in place. The report also offers a range of recommendations for MAT and school leaders and policy makers.
