Floating Future Research Project’s Post

Last week, we had our first case study meeting with the Floating Future Research Project. We brought together researchers from various scientific disciplines around 5 case studies with societal stakeholders. With a very detailed action research method guided by Christiaan Weiler we explored scientific and societal questions regarding the upscaling of floating solutions. Interesting keynotes were provided by Øyvind Hellan about the Norwegian Singapore collaboration on researching large scale floating structures and by Renske de Winter about the future delta scenarios to deal with climate impacts in the Netherlands. Casestudy contexts (inland, coastal and offshore) were provided by Dries Schuwer, Franco Pantano, Elske Geelhoed and Jorick van der Heijden.
