🎃 Halloween Safety Tips for a Spooky and Safe Night! 🎃 Happy Halloween from the Florida Fire Chiefs' Association! As you head out for a night of fun, keep these safety tips in mind to make sure everyone has a safe, memorable evening: 👻 Stay Visible: Add reflective tape to costumes and carry flashlights or glow sticks. 🔥 Costume Safety: Make sure costumes, wigs, and accessories are flame-resistant. Avoid long, flowing costumes that could easily catch fire. 🚶 Safe Walking Habits: Always cross at crosswalks, look both ways and stay alert. Encourage kids to stay on sidewalks and avoid cutting through dark areas. 🍭 Inspect Treats: Check all candy and treats for signs of tampering. For added safety, stick to factory-sealed goodies! 🏠 Home Safety: Keep pathways well-lit and remove tripping hazards like garden hoses or decorations. 🚒 Be Fire-Aware: Use battery-operated candles in jack-o’-lanterns to avoid open flames. Let’s all do our part to keep Halloween safe and fun for everyone! Have a great night! 🎃🧡
