We at FlyPix.AI were thrilled to participate in the 3rd Destination Earth User eXchange held in Darmstadt, Germany, and hosted by EUMETSAT. The event brought together researchers, #DestinE users, and service providers, highlighting the significant progress of the #DestinationEarth initiative and its growing importance to stakeholders. We were particularly excited by the live demonstration of the DestinE Service Platform, which is shaping the future of digital twins for Earth. The training sessions provided valuable hands-on insights into data access services and how to leverage them effectively. It was also a fantastic opportunity to network with industry leaders, and experts from the European Space Agency - ESA, European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, and EUMETSAT to exchange ideas on building a more sustainable future, and reinforce the importance of making #EO insights accessible to a wide range of users, not just data experts. We’re looking forward to seeing how the platform evolves and continues to drive innovation in the years to come! #DestinE #ESA #ECMWF #EUMETSAT

🌌 Throwback to the ESA event on the "Space Data Space" in Brussels 🚀 I was thrilled to participate in this event organized by the European Space Agency - ESA, which highlighted the importance of sharing spatial data. Here are some inspiring examples: 🇵🇱 Floods in Poland: real-time satellite images helped identify affected areas to prioritize assistance. 🌍 Destination Earth: a digital twin of the Earth to monitor weather and predict the impacts of disasters. 🛰 EUCAI: a tool for analyzing and presenting scientific information about space. 💽 Space Data Marketplace: an initiative by CNES facilitating access to data via Dawex - Data Exchange Technology . A Space #DataSpace could unify these initiatives and connect them to other sectors, such as the "mobility data space", to combine data from space with data from the ground. Next steps: ESA is finalizing its blueprint to consider implementation in 2025 🚀 Stay tuned ! Thanks to everyone for the enriching discussions! #SpaceDataSpace #ESA #Innovation cc : Olivier Dion Laurent Lafaye Fabrice Tocco Emmanuel Mondon patrick legai Dawex - Data Exchange Technology

There are a few silver linings for us (and the private Indian spacetech ecosystem) in this announcement that is worth sharing here on LinkedIn - 1) The outcome of the coming together of SatSure, KaleidEO, ReOrbit, and the European Space Agency - ESA is a rare instance of multi-national public-private collaboration. 2) First joint working relationship for a space mission by an Indian company with a Finnish company. 3) First Indian company to collaborate on a major commercialisation initiative for Earth Observation with ESA and work with optical relay for EO applications. 4) We will deploy the imagery processing pipeline for the program. It involves AI based computation on board the satellite. We were the first Indian company to demonstrate a successful run of AI algorithms in-orbit last year. 5) A full stack demonstration from tasking and operational management of satellites to consuming data products through a unified data platform built in-house. A first globally in many ways. Thanks to Sethu Saveda Suvanam Akash Yalagach & Arpan Sahoo for making this happen 🙌 ISRO - Indian Space Research Organisation IN-SPACe Pawan Goenka Promus Ventures Pierre Festal Arul Mehra Baring Private Equity Partners Krishna Reddy Rashmit Singh Sukhmani Arya Pratap Singh Kavya Karampuri Avinash Bagali NITI Aayog #satellites #Earthobservation #deeptech #geospatial #spacetech
"Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success." – Henry Ford. At KaleidEO, we've cracked the code to success: collaboration. And guess what? We're taking it up a notch! Building upon our collaboration with ReOrbit, we are now participating in the InCubed program of European Space Agency - ESA. As a part of this. KaleidEO will be collaborating on the technology built by ReOrbit for ESA. This will also help us to validate the proposition that EO data adoption can be made seamless through ReOrbit’s satellite platform as part of its in-orbit demonstration strategy. As a major one-of-a-kind milestone from the Indian space sector, SatSure and KaleidEO look to work with ReOrbit on a major commercialisation initiative for Earth Observation with ESA and on optical relay for EO applications. So what does this mean for EO users? Our collaboration will bring together KaleidEO’s mission management and tasking console with payload data handling capabilities and AI-on-EDGE models, ReOrbit's optical inter-satellite link capabilities with the smart satellite platform and SatSure's solutions & analytics stack for end users. All this on a seamless integrated platform. Together, we're poised to offer leading full stack EO infrastructure-as-a-service in Earth Observation! Trying to create impact is always hard, through products or technology or adopting EO in general. While we try to break barriers and make integration easy, one step at a time, a lot things have to change in how system integration is done throughout the data value chain. With ReOrbit we shall put the boat out farther in 2025. Let's experience the change next year as part of a unique approach to true downstream and upstream seamless integration with latest of the best: software first bus architecture ✅near metre resolution✅AI platform on board ✅Data access platform and analytics on demand where you can task the satellite too 😶🌫️✅ ISL for quicker turnaround ✅ SatSure solution integration ✅ Does this qualify as a infrastructure in space ? Ready to integrate for business? Come talk to us, maybe we can make it better still. Last week, our team visited Satellogic's satellite manufacturing plant in Montevideo, Uruguay, to witness the final stages of UzmaSAT-1. We were honored that our delegation, led by our Group CEO, Dato' Kamarul Muhamed, was joined by His Excellency Nur Azman Abdul Rahim, Malaysian Ambassador to Argentina, Mr. Rushdi Rahim, President and CEO of the Malaysia Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT), and Dr Ahmad Sabirin Arshad, President and Group CEO of SIRIM Berhad. Set to launch in Q4 2024, UzmaSAT-1 will join the Satellogic Constellation, providing high-resolution Earth observation data and multiple daily revisits of points of interest. We had the opportunity to engage with Satellogic's talented team and observe this significant milestone. We eagerly anticipate UzmaSAT-1's launch and its contributions to advancing Malaysia's capabilities in space technology. Upon commissioning, UzmaSAT-1 will integrate with Satellogic’s constellation of more than 40 satellites, enhancing temporal resolution with up to seven revisits per day, streamlining data acquisition and processing, and empowering customers with revolutionary geospatial solutions. Through this collaboration, Geospatial AI, a wholly owned subsidiary of Uzma and a two-time recipient of the Smart Technology Innovation of the Year award, will accelerate the development of valuable geospatial applications, providing actionable insights and solutions for a rapidly growing market.
