Advancing quantum sensing technologies for defence applications. FlySight CEO Andrea Masini participated in the Round Table on "Quantum Technology for Defense" organized by #QTI at the 𝐈𝐄𝐄𝐄 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 #TechDefense2024 held from November 11-13 in #Naples. Involved alongside Andrea Masini in the discussion moderated by 𝐏𝐚𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞 Research Director at CNR-INO, also Patrizia Livreri from Palermo University, & RaSS, CNIT Pisa, Tommaso Occhipinti, co-founder & CEO QTI SRL and Antonella Sanguineti, Head of Marketing and Product Management Networking, Cloud Security & Identity at Sparkle.
#Live from the Round Table “Quantum Technology for Defense” coordinated by #QTI at the IEEE Conference on Defense and Security (#TechDefense2024) taking place from 11 to 13 November in #Naples. #Yesterday we explored the main applications of #quantumtechnology to enhance security capabilities for the #defensesector, ranging from #QuantumKeyDistribution, to quantum sensing and quantum radar. Paolo de Natale introduced the session framing the technology in the EU and the international context and moderated the session, where we had the pleasure to hear from Andrea Masini, FlySight, Patrizia Livreri, University of Palermo, Tommaso Occhipinti, QTI and Antonella Sanguineti, Sparkle about the perspectives opened by quantum technologies in the field, together with insightful use cases and recent implementations. We would like to thank the General Chairs of the event Prof. Pasquale Daponte, Gen. Giovanni Savoldelli Pedrocchi (R) and Domenico Accardo for providing a platform to address these themes within such a prestigious scientific setting.
