Reflecting on an Electrifying Week at ACT Expo / ACT News 2024 in Las Vegas! My core insight from ACT: the next chapter in EV revolution is already here and it is commercial heavy electric fleets and their infrastructure! Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to dive into the heart of clean transportation at the ACT Expo in Las Vegas. As the largest event dedicated to advanced clean transportation technologies, ACT Expo was brimming with innovative ideas and solutions aimed at revolutionizing how we think about upcoming Emobility creative destruction. From attending enlightening sessions on the latest in EV fleet management and charging technologies to engaging in insightful discussions with industry leaders, every moment was filled with learning and networking. A highlight was our meetings with Charging Hubs for commercial EV transport in the U.S., where we discussed cutting-edge fast-charging technologies that promise to significantly reduce charging times and enhance logistics and energy management efficiency. We also had fruitful conversations with Siemens about their announcement of #Depot360, which will simplify the journey to efficient, zero-emission US fleet operations, which are crucial for a sustainable future. A special thank you to our clients and partners, for their continued collaboration. Our discussions will undoubtedly help drive our shared vision for a greener future forward. Networking was as productive as it was inspiring. I was thrilled to connect with peers from MN8 Energy, who invited us to a pre-expo kick-off dinner and many new faces passionate about creating a sustainable future. Special mentions to Joe V. from AGI for insightful exchanges on EV charging infrastructure and services, and the breakfast meeting with Parkopedia which opened doors to prospective partnerships in the EV charging landscape. As we wrapped up the event, my head buzzed with new ideas and strategies, energized by the sheer potential of what we can achieve together in this dynamic field.
