#WednesdayWisdom: I’ve often referenced something I teach in Crucial Conversations: Other people or things don’t make you angry, YOU make yourself angry. The same holds true for happiness. If you steel your mindset to being positive, then you’re going to come across as positive to others. Don’t allow any negativity to hold sway over your emotions. There is a lot in the world that can bring us down if we let it. There’s also a lot in you that can help to bring yourself up! Look inward to your goals, dreams, aspirations, and successes. It’s a beautiful thing to recount the things you can be thankful for, and then feel your mind start to clear away the negative like the sun burning away clouds.
