God speaks directly to Joshua in this powerful verse, preparing him to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land. The command to be strong and courageous is not just for Joshua but for all of us facing challenges and uncertainties. Life often throws obstacles in our path—difficult decisions, unexpected struggles, or daunting tasks. Yet, this verse reminds us that we are not alone. God's instruction to Joshua is not just a command, but a promise: "The Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." This promise is the bedrock of our courage and strength. We can confront the unknown, the trials, and the fears in our lives because God's presence is unwavering. He walks with us, guiding and strengthening us when we feel weak. Today, let Joshua 1:9 remind you that courage is not the absence of fear but the choice to trust God during it. Just as God was with Joshua, He is with us today. His presence empowers us to face our fears, step into the unknown, and confidently move forward. When we rely on God's strength, we can boldly face any situation, knowing He goes before us and walks with us every step of the way. When you lean on His presence and promises, you will find the strength to keep moving forward, no matter what lies ahead.

During our life-journey, we often have to fight against various adversities and adversaries. Among these fights, the fight we focus on is frequently determined by our mind, which can be our worst enemy (Bhagavad-gita 06.06). How does the mind act inimically? By misdirecting our fighting in two broad ways: Fighting wars that are unwinnable: The mind often makes us resent all the wrongs that have happened to us. But many of these wrongs can’t be changed. When we keep resenting the unchangeable, we are essentially fighting unwinnable wars. Fighting wars where victory is not even definable: The mind often gets us fighting hot and cold wars against our loved ones. Suppose they have done something that upsets us. The mind impels us to lash out against them for all their wrongdoings, present and past, actual and imagined, intentional and unintentional. The mind even impels us to attack them behind their backs. Even if we succeed in proving that they are wrong, it is we who will have to live with a humiliated partner. They will be miserable, and their misery will inevitably make us miserable. Where is the victory in that? Does the preceding analysis mean that we never try to change anything? Some situations certainly need to be changed, as do some people’s some opinions. But deciding what to change and how to go about changing it requires prudence, which the mind sorely lacks. To be prudent, we need to focus on the most important war: the war to stay connected with our indwelling Lord, Krishna, in a mood of loving service. By that devotional disposition, we become receptive to his guidance from within (10.10). Being thus guided, we can carefully choose to fight those battles that make things better, not worse.

Listen, I know life can throw some serious challenges our way whether it's a negative report, an unexpected setback, or just feeling like things aren't lining up the way we planned. But listen, don’t be moved by what you see or hear! God is working behind the scenes on your behalf, even when things look tough. Psalm 16:8 says it perfectly “I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.” When God is at the center, we’re unshakable. He’s got you, sis! And here’s another reminder from 1 Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” Guard your heart! Stay focused, BE IMMOVABLE, (read that again) and know that what you’re doing has purpose. Your efforts aren’t wasted! Keep believing what God said Remember this: Celebrate your small wins. Give God praise!💃 They are reminders that God is at work! Every little victory is a sign that the breakthrough is coming. And most importantly, think back to what God has already done. If He’s done it before, trust that He will do it again!🙌🏾 Keep your head up, so your crown won’t fall! . 💪🏾 #beautychats👑 #encouragement #inspirational #TheWordOfTheDay
