This week I had the pleasure of visiting the European Commission to discuss key aspects of the digital and green priorities of the incoming Commission, set to begin its new term on December 1st. 💡 Sustainability will remain a central pillar for the upcoming European Commission (2024-2029), with a strong focus on advancing the Clean Industrial Plan. This initiative aims to drive Europe’s competitiveness while fostering prosperity and sustainability. By integrating green innovation into industrial strategies, the Commission seeks to position Europe as a global leader in sustainable development, ensuring long-term economic growth and environmental resilience. I am deeply grateful to the colleagues from the Permanent Representation of the European Commission in Spain for their kind invitation and for providing the opportunity to engage with the EU and different national stakeholders during the event.
