Summit City Climbing Co we have good news and bad news: The good news - The Professional Engineer (PE) got the engineered plans to us early last week. The plans were resubmitted to the State and now we're pending their review (hopefully this won't take as long and they don't ask for anything else). The bad news - You'll have to leave your exotic animals at home. The climbing walls are only engineered to carry the weight of a baby elephant. (If you're a human being, climb on!) Forecasted Timeline to Open: PE Assessment - 3 weeks - July 24th State Release - 3 weeks - August 16th FW City Inspections - 1 week - August 23rd Certificate of Occupancy - 1 week - August 30th We got pushed back a week for the expected timeline. This is if everything goes according to plan and there are no more hiccups.
