Bluetooth Personal Area Networking (PAN) profile is an ad-hoc network of devices communicating over a Bluetooth radio connection using the Bluetooth Network Encapsulation Protocol (BNEP) to exchange packets between devices. BNEP removes and replaces the Ethernet Header with the BNEP Header. The BNEP_CONTROL packet type is used to exchange control information. There are 0x0-0x6 and 0x07-0xFF is reserved for future use. Here are three scenarios as 1. Network Access Points (NAP) 2. Group Ad-hoc Networks (GN) 3.
