Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting Module 2 of the Nordic Nuclear Trainee Program (NNTP), a collaborative trainee program with all Nordic #nuclear operators (Vattenfall, Teollisuuden Voima Oyj, Uniper). This module was designed to deepen our trainees' understanding of what it takes to run a safe and profitable nuclear power plant. We kicked off the program at Fortum's Office in Espoo, where we delved into Fortum's strategy, team building, and gained insights into nuclear R&D at Fortum. Our trainees also learned about the roles of STUK and SvK in the nuclear industry. One of the highlights was our visit to the Loviisa nuclear power plant. This visit provided invaluable insights into the management of nuclear power plants and highlighted just how crucial safety and efficiency are in our industry. We are proud to be part of a program that not only enhances the knowledge and skills of our future nuclear professionals but also fosters a collaborative and innovative environment.
