Love it when we get the chance to dial these systems in perfectly. This unit ran 100% until it pumped off and started cycling. When the cycling starts, that’s when the fun begins! These are the KPIs we trend to keep you from pulling your tubing. Pump fillage set point - we’re at 85% on this system because when it pumps off, it pumps off fast and we want to prevent fluid pound and buckling. Pump off strokes - we have very few false pump off strokes with this unit so it we only need one stroke to tell us its pumped off. Downtime - 1hr 40mins, how do we know this is the optimal time? Because we sit and watch units cycle and run surveys to back up our recommendations. Start up strokes - proves that we have accurate downtime because this unit pumps up in two strokes. It takes time to dial these systems in. This doesn’t happen after one survey. It happens after we’re able to trend the data and look surveys over a period of time. Some operators want to be more aggressive and we will modify our practice to meet customer demand. But for this customer who’s on the flat end of the decline curve, preventing a failure is the main goal. #fluidlevels
Use AWT Artificial Lift Lubricant to protect what you fix, tighten tolerances on the pump reduces wash back and lift more with every stroke.
