🚀👥 We’re excited to introduce Massimo Schiavi, as one of the amazing mentors of the Founder Institute Italian cohort! Massimo has been working in IT since his university days, managing sales as an individual contributor and a team manager in large corporations. He also spent several years building his own company, successfully scaling the organization while managing its EBITDA and ensuring its medium-term sustainability. This experience, he reflects, has been the most rewarding of his career and has shaped his mentality in terms of putting the customer at the center and being the first to make the move, or else the market will make the move on you.⚡💡 In his own words: ‘I will be happy and honored to help anyone thinking of creating something from scratch, focusing first on managing sustainability from a financial point of view. This includes understanding how to manage your finances in collaboration with banks and a network of alliances. Building your ecosystem will enable you to offer the best to your customers.' 🏦🌐🎯 #FounderInstitute #Mentorship #Innovation

Within our Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) and Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) communities, our ethos centers around transformative action rather than mere discussion. We prize the collective wisdom gained from peer-to-peer learning, the unparalleled opportunities stemming from high-caliber networking, and the cutting-edge advancements driven by innovation. For us, trust and confidentiality aren't just foundational values; they are the strategic underpinnings of impactful marketing and branding efforts that are meticulously crafted away from the public eye. As visionary leaders, we do more than simply manage our businesses. We are trailblazers, constantly envisioning the future, leveraging our robust networks to unearth new opportunities, and recognizing that dynamic marketing and exceptional products are indispensable for sales success. Let's face it: stagnation is our adversary. Without continual growth, we risk fading into obsolescence. Yet, this invites a critical self-reflection: Are we truly maximizing the insights gained from EO and YPO in our marketing initiatives? Or have we settled into a comfort zone, overlooking the imperative of incessant growth? It's a challenging realization, but resting on our laurels is not in our DNA. #ForwardThinking #StrategicNetworking #EmbraceGrowth #LeadWithVision #EntrepreneurialSpirit #EOYPOInsights #MarketingExcellence #DriveBusinessForward #RejectComplacency

🌟 A Serendipitous Encounter with George Yeo 🌟 Yesterday, I had an unexpected and delightful bump into none other than George Yeo! 🎉 For those who may not know, George Yeo is a former Singaporean politician and a respected thought leader. He has held numerous significant positions, including the Minister for Foreign Affairs, and has played a pivotal role in shaping Singapore’s policies and international relations. 🇸🇬 Beyond his political career, George Yeo is an accomplished author. His books, especially “George Yeo: Musings,” have been a source of immense inspiration for me on my entrepreneurial journey. 📚 His insights on leadership, strategy, and personal growth have profoundly influenced my approach to business and life. His wisdom has often provided me with the clarity and motivation to navigate through challenging times. 💡 Meeting him in person was surreal. We chatted about his experiences, and I couldn’t help but express my gratitude for his work. His humility and willingness to share his knowledge were truly inspiring. 🌟 This encounter reminded me of the importance of continuous learning and the power of inspiration. 🔍 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 last week, organized by Ganado Advocates and Zampa Debattista. I had the pleasure of joining a panel discussion focused on the internationalisation of local family businesses. Here are my key takeaways: 1️⃣ 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝗼 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴: A solid business structure is essential, but don’t let perfection hold you back. Embrace the challenge and get started. Your current structure needs to support both local and new international operations until everything is fully set up. 2️⃣ 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲: Who will lead your expansion? Assigning this task to an overstretched team won’t cut it. Ensure you have the right talent in place—people who are equipped and committed to driving your international growth from day one. 3️⃣ 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰: Internationalisation should be a deliberate part of your growth strategy, not a reaction to market trends or saturation. Your business purpose, values, and culture should guide your expansion plans—not what everyone else is doing. 4️⃣ 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: Different countries mean different markets, cultures, and preferences. Avoid a copy-paste approach. Respect local nuances, adapt where needed, but stay true to your core values. Authenticity wins over rigidity. 5️⃣ 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀: Tap into networks with minimal conflict of interest, such as business representative association, chambers and embassies. These independent entities often provide valuable connections, resources, and advice that can significantly shorten your learning curve. Special thanks to Nick Curmi for ably moderating the panel, and to my fellow panellists Matthew Zampa - VAT Specialist, CPA, Nathan Farrugia and Michael Mercieca for making the discussion insightful and engaging. #FamilyBusiness #Internationalisation #BusinessGrowth #Leadership KastellVP

“Either we lead the change or change leaves us behind”. This German proverb has never been more relevant than in today's rapidly changing VUCA world. Change presents major challenges for us and for our clients. One thing is clear: We need to lead the change. We need to transform to better meet our clients’ needs and to enable their transformation. Our purpose is our guiding star here. Together we take care of the unexpected and foster entrepreneurship. To deliver on this promise, we need three key ingredients: 👉 Strong innovation and implementation skills 👉 Strong performance culture, built on trust, and our TEC values #transparency, #engagement, and #collaboration 👉 Strong commitment to our clients’ satisfaction. Truly, we have great transformation projects within our company. To honour the best, we have created the Transformation Award. Three of the numerous submissions were awarded this prestigious prize. A project from our subsidiary Warta won the first prize. Warta introduced a direct sales channel to better meet the needs of young clients. Read the full story of the winning transformation project in the carousel below. What are your thoughts on change and transformation? I’m looking forward to your insights in the comments below!

"A fantastic day of workshops, ideas exchange and an opportunity to meet some of the Business and Law faculty team. Looking forward to our next meeting (and lunch 😀)" What was the feedback like on your last advisory board meeting? How much opportunity did you give your advisors to actually share their advice, their insight, their ideas? Sometimes a small change can make a big impact: we don't claim credit for running this particular advisory board workshop - but we have been working with the school on engagement and sharing best practice. The comments under this post say it all: focused content, interactive format, giving your advisors the opportunity to get to know each other, to get to know the School and to actually share their insight. Now is the time to plan your first advisory board meeting for the new year! We can help! We do all the work for you through our framework and toolkit to enable you to reshape and re-engage your advisory board. We can also facilitate an interactive workshop so that your board members can add so much more value to your business school, the definition and delivery of its strategic objectives and the relevance of your programmes. #advisoryboard #businessschool #workshop #sharingtheexperience #seniorleadershipteam
