Last week on a panel I was asked to share a time I felt vulnerable. I briefly talked personally about my ‘late beginnings’, as I embarked last year in postgraduate study in the whirlwind of family, founding and frenzy unfolding at this stage of my life. After the first module of 10 in the program, I was in Canberra attending my daughter’s graduation. I was feeling quite overwhelmed by all of the juggle and said to her after her ceremony “I don’t think I can do this study right now, I’m just not sure how I’m going to get through.” She hugged me and said “hang in there Mum, next year we’ll switch hats and you’ll be the one graduating”. And here we are. Today I officially attended my MBA graduation from Melbourne Business School. There’s no doubt in my mind that family get us through, so I can’t thank enough - my family, my Foxo family and my SEMBA cohort family - for your energy, spirit and encouragement on the journey.
