🏉🏏🎉Women's sport is going from strength to strength, with our 2024 AFLW and WBBL seasons breaking viewing records. The 2024 WBBL season became our most-watched ever across all platforms, up 41% year-on-year – growth which was driven by streaming audiences. And this year's AFLW season was the most streamed of all-time, up 61% year-on-year, with a total of 179 million minutes streamed and linear audiences also growing 12% year-on-year. “Congratulations to Cricket Australia on a successful decade of WBBL, said Rebecca McCloy, Executive Director – Commercial Sport. "We're thrilled to have been part of this growth story. "It’s great to have such a quality competition as part of our ‘Summer of Cricket’ schedule.” “How fantastic is it to see this sort of growth for women’s sport? I’m thrilled our coverage and the competition have been received really well by fans," said Fox Footy General Manager Michael Neill. “It shows that our partnership with the AFL and our commitment to grow women’s sport is working.” We're continuing to invest in producing sports broadcasting that is different, better, special and bringing audiences more of the sports experiences that they love. And with sport now on BINGE direct from Kayo Sports, even more Australian families can get into the WBBL and AFLW.
